Ken Roczen got his first overall win since the final round of 2016 by grabbing the first Moto and hanging on for runner-up in the second Moto on Saturday to open the 2019 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship series.

Roczen takes the Red Plate ahead of two-time defending Champion Eli Tomac (4-1) who finished second overall after checking out in Moto 2. Jason Anderson (2-5) fresh off an injury-shortened Supercross season grabbed third overall. Cooper Webb, the 2019 Supercross Champion took fifth overall after a (3-6) day.

In the 250 class, Adam Cianciarulo (2-1) brushed off a heart-breaking 250SX West Championship loss two weeks ago and rebounded by taking the overall including a Moto 2 win. Justin Cooper (1-4) finished second overall and Colt Nichols (5-3) rounded out the podium. Dylan Ferrandis (3-5), who won the 250SX West Championship, took fourth overall while Chase Sexton, 250SX East Champion, finished fifth overall after a (4-6) day.
