" I've put around 5500 miles on my tires, and am at about 3/32 - 4/32" left at the center (I do mainly street riding), my friend has bridgestone tires (stock on the new zx-6's) with 3-4k miles, and is already under minimum at the center. Great cornering traction, I have had it get greasy on me on a super hot day when I was taking clovers but otherwise on dry clean pavement you can easily go all the way down to the edge of the tire and still feel confident. The interstate will eat these tires so if you do mainly highway miles go with a harder tire, after 100 miles on the interstate and I got a pretty bad flat spot. "

" I was debating on another set of perelli's for my cbr but i thought if try the ct2's. all i have to say is il never use another tire. these tires are cheaper and so far handle the same if not better than the diablos. the dual compond is great for both freeway and the turns. i was so impressed i got my bro a set for his gsxr750 for the bday and he is equally as impressed after swiching from the battalax. " I bought these for a World Superbike Track day at Miller Motorsports park outside Salt Lake City, UT. I've been running harder compound tires (Pirelli Dragon Supercorsas) that just felt too slick. These tires are grippy. I was able to lay it over with just a few turns in them to warm them up. Fantastic tires for the $. Way cheaper than Pirelli's. I would definitely recommend them. For my next tires, I will be buying them again. Here at motosport.com they are very inexpensive too. Thanks guys! "

" hi there i have a had quite a few sets of these 2ct tires and let me tell you they are some of the best tires out there!! I DO recommend these tires to my friends !!!! they heat up far far quicker than the original pilot powers, combined with the hard center and softer edges makes for a nice EVEN tire wear. Next time you change your tires look at how much is left on the edge but you have to change due to the center!!!! i do frequent track days on these tires with a little lower tire pressure they hold up no problems. off the track theres where that harder center comes in to extend the life, the tires i order from motosport were brand new just like off the rack at the dealership.....but for way cheaper of course.....keep it up michelin and thanks motosport!!!!!! "

" The Michelin Pilot Power tires tip in a bit quicker then my old Dunlop. On my 09' GSXR 600 They take a little bit to warm up. Once warm, however, they gripped like a champ. They wear quickly in the center but, they are “sport” tires. So over all im happy!! "

Stickiest tires I used with a duel compound
" I live near Castro Valley Ca., and love rideing Redwood and Polimaris canyon. Naturally I need a tire that heats up easily and grips well enough to withstand taking hairpin turns at speeds of 60 mph. I ride a naked Suzuki Bandit 1200s and if you know this bike then you know taking 20mph turns at 60+mph is pushing the envelope a bit. The 2CT is just the tire for this, and it will last if I ever want to go on long rides. You can feel comfortable in knowing that you can get low and fast in this tire ,and trust it not to wash out on you. "

" I have a GSX-R 750 and have been riding on these for about 2 months now. Had Metzlers on before and can really tell a difference between the two, night and day! I don't have to go as far to get them good and warmed up, and because of that I feel more confident in turns. I haven't been riding on them long enough to know about wear life but there's hardly no flat spot as of yet. "

what is the difference between the 2ct and the original pilot power? Are they both fit for street ridin?

Both are street legal, the 2CT is more of a track/high performance tire where the pilot power is more of an everyday tire.

These are different from the original Pilot Powers because they have a dual compound tread. The outer part of the tread is softer to allow better traction in cornering. Great tires!

The 2CT's are very new. This tire was completely sold out in the USA last year. So any 2CT will have arrived within the last 6-9 months or so.
