They are sweet handles but I bought the wrong size but modified them and they work great now.

Installed these MSR D-flectors on a 2006 CRF 100 with stock 7/8 bars. Had to make a bushing for the end clamps out of copper pipe. Some bar end clamps have both bar sizes some don't..
The aluminum handguards fit well, but mounting the plastic deflectors to them was a pain in the a** ! If the holes were pre-drilled for those who add the plastic guards to their order would have made this installation so much easier. Untill then,I recommend you use a drill-press.
bought this instead of flexible levers and no regrets!! it protects your hands of hitting something and protects your brake and clutch levers from breaking!!!
Seems to be a good product, just installed them tonight, love the look and seems sturdy. Only problem i have is the inside bar mounts were a little too small, had to do some light filing on the corners to fit better, made it work but for $60 i expected a better fit.
Love MSR but for $50 I think you should get the shields with the bars
but insallation was fairly easy, had to drill the end of my throttle tube
For the end to fit in the bar but otherwise great product. Also remember
Install the them straight ahead of your bars and not sagging down
or pointing up.
Fit great and look awesome. they take one heck of a beating too. I've smashed them more times than I can count and I haven't changed a lever yet.
I think the quality is good, heavier than what they look to be on the online pics. I have an 81 Yamaha DT175. These guards wont fit because my older bike has longer levers. I want to keep them and modify to make them work but I will probably send them back and try another set. I would recommend them but make sure they fit.
Fits very well. I have these on three other bikes.
I was tired of breaking handles and perches on my bike and these guards provide cheap insurance as well as a nice look.
This is a great product I'm sure everyone will agree. Motosport. as always, got the order to me lightning fast. They usually have it shipped within hours. Amazing people and I love ordering from your site!!
I bought these to go on my CR250 with CR High Bends. They bolted right up and have handled a lot of abuse! They fit great and keep you from smashing you hand into a tree. A must have for any woods rider.
These Bark busters have taken a few spills out on the trails and are doing the job perfectly. Buried my bars a foot deep in the mud last weekend and levers still work great and no bent bars.Love these bark busters i have them on 2 bikes. fast shipping too.
Since there was no name brand on the title of the hand guards, I thought they would fit the stock 2003 450 exc. When they came, I realized that my handle bars taper as you get closer to the center. the mount was so small, I couldn't even grind out the middle. Other than that they seem like well made and light hand guards.
I have these installed on all my bikes. You can't beat em for the price and man they will take a beating! My son always rides way above his skill level and these things have saved me tons of money on levers and they look great too! Must have for woods riding!
The bar mounts don't fit well at all on Pro Taper Evo's. The cutout is too small of a diameter. I pulled some mounts off another bike with Pro Tapers and Moose handguards to make sure I wasn't crazy and indeed the Moose have a bigger cutout and better fit (and I wasn't that impressed with the fit of the Moose when I put them on years ago). Had to take a Dremel tool to grind the cutout. It fits now but will probably twist easy since I couldn't do a smooth grind and it won't have as much surface area to clamp with. If you cut your bars down you will really have problems. I realize these are probably made in China but come on guys how difficult can it be to make mounts for one model of handlebar?
very solid and have saved my hands many times. recommend them to anyone who has brush guards or nothing at all
These are made pretty well, dont like the fact of how cheap the hardware is. Too easy to strip out the bolts. Had to grind away a good amount of metal on the mounts to make them fit the handlebars. Where the mounts meet the crossbar pad I had to grind away the corner about 1/4 inch.
I bought a set for 7/8 bars and they were perfect but these for the 1-1/8 bars dont fit well. They point up instead of level. the problem is not enough bend where the guard attaches to the mounts. then the bar inserts were too big (maybe the inside of my tag bars are too small?). so after filing them down an filing the inside of my bars and bending the guards a little they fit pretty good. Could have sent them back because motosport is great, but i wanted to make them fit because its the only handguard i will use.
Took about ten minutes to install! They work great and look even better!
Here is a link to the kit that would fit your bars:
