Great fit and finish

The stock hand guards on my 2014 KTM 500exc (that were newly desighned for 2014) broke off the first time I fell on the bike. I am happy to report that the Acerbis X-force Handguards can take a beating. I had 5 hard falls on my last 90 mile ride and the hand guards are still on the bike. The way they mount to the handle bar allow the guards to flex on impact and not break. Also, the material they build the mounts out of is not brittle like the stock hand guards. Great product for the price!

Great product

I wanted some good quality hand guard but I hate the look And function of most other setups but these work great and are easy to set up and adjust.

Great on my 07' KtTM

I got these right before the season started. I installed them s soon as i got to the desert. took less than 5 minutes. I mounted the bracket under my controls instead of over. Its a tight fight with my controls but with a lil tweaking of everything, it fits great. Pinning it around bushes and following the roost of anything with no worries. Got quite a few scratches on them that weekend ;)

X force handguard

These work well deflecting garden variety roost and small branches on trail. However, a large branch broke the mount on my left guard. It did save the clutch lever and I could still ride, so giving it's life, it did it's job. Acceptable in Idaho.

X-Force handguards for woods riding

i love these hand guards, i race harescrambles and track i run these on all the bikes ive had, i cant stand the guards that wrap around to your bar ends so i thought i would try these. they stop the rocks and dirt from hitting your hands and trees branches from grabbing your levers which was all i was looking for.

Good looking guards...

I like these handguards...I would consider them "light weight" in terms of protection, but they are flexible enought to take a hit and bounce right back. I previously had EE moto guards which seemed to be sturdier, but time will tell how they hold up. They look great on the bike, though!

Great product

These were super simple to install and they come with easy to install/ remove inserts to block/allow air to pass through. I have not used them yet but they should do the trick protecting from roost, sticks or maybe save a lever when I wipe-out " cause we all know that never happens"

They will fit your 2012 Honda CRF100F since they are universal, you may need to slightly move your controls to provide room for the mounting clamp.

Yes, as long as you have enough space on your handlebar in the control area. You should not have any issues running the Acerbis X-Force Handguards on your Honda TRX400EX.

What are the tow holes toward the inside of the handlebars for? They almost look like an optional mounting point.?
Expert MotoSport Staff

The holes are actually for using a zip-tie to connect the hand guard to the brake master cylinder / clutch perch area for extra stability.

Will they fit on an SSR 110 pit bike?
MotoSport Staff Expert

These don't really have a specific bike fitment. They really meant to be used on any full sized motocross bike. On that pit bike I would just recommend checking to make sure there is enough free space on the bars around the controls to for them to mount up. The mounts for these clamp to the handlebars on the inside of the clutch/throttle/brake controls. I have attached an image to help show this mounting point on the bike better.

Do these guards work on a 2012 ktm 50 sx whith a aluminum throttle tube with a berring in the middle?
MotoSport Staff
1 year 10 months ago Location: Portland, OR, USA
MotoSportExpert
These hand guards do include the mounting hardware and will mount to the KTM50sx handlebars. These are not a full wrap hand guard so they do not mount to the end of the handlebar so the throttle tube will not affect the installation.

These should fit your TT-R230 without issue. You may need to move the controls some to create clearance for the mounts when installing.
