Like the style and performance of the rims but don't like the fact that the center caps don't fit. They are to short to fit on my yamaha viking and no one said anything about it and not able to find a deeper set

Q: Fittment?
1 year 8 months ago
I love these wheels, but 2 questions. I have read that the center cap won't work on a viking. Next, the 4 3 backspacing everyone else is recommended 5 2 in front. I'd like to run 27 9 14 and 27 11 14 interco reptile tires on the wheels. Would I have any front clearance issues?

A: We have the stock tire sizes listed for most all models on our website. Please be sure that you have the proper machine in your “shopping for” selection. We do NOT have a listing of alternative sizes available for your machine. We suggest staying with the stock sizing as changing the size can cause issues with handling, reliability, rubbing and could have adverse effects on performance.

A: Any of the sizes listed, when you select your 2012 Can Am Outlander 500, will fit your ATV. If you would like to stay with the stock tire sizes on your ATV you would want to order the 12x7 front wheel and the 12x8 rear wheel.

Can you please explain the back spacing of this wheel?

A: The "2B+6N" offset (or backspacing) would mean the hub of this wheel would sit 2 inches from the inside of the wheel and 6 inches from the outside of the wheel.

A: For the matching front wheel for this 12x8 rear wheel, you would want to order the Moose 393X Front Wheel - 12X7 4B+3N.

Here is a link directly to the matching front:

A: Those numbers would be refering to the offset of the wheel. The first number is the distance from the inside of the wheel to the point where the hub mounts to the wheel. The 2nd number would be the distance from where the wheel mounts to the hub to the outside of the wheel. So on this wheel there would be 4" from the inside of the wheel to the hub and 3" from the hub to the outside of the wheel.
