Product Description

The revolutionary Twinwall® handlebar is an oversized diameter 1-1/8" (28.6 mm) handlebar which utilizes two tubes, one within the other, borrowing principles from aircraft design to give the best combination of lightness, strength and safety. Since their introduction in 1998, the Twinwall has been the handlebar of choice for more professional race teams and has helped more riders win championships than any other handlebar in the world.

The following features are integral to the Renthal Twinwall® handlebars:

  • Twinwall construction - consists of two aluminum alloy tubes one within the other.
  • Outer tube is 7010 T73 aluminum, which has extreme resistance to mechanical damage and is anodized to prevent corrosion.
  • Inner tube is ultra high strength 7010 T6 aluminum and is hard anodized to resist wear from twist grip and controls.
  • Rubber seals cover the join to keep out water and cleaning fluids.
  • Laser-etched positioning grid.
  • Renthal's pioneered bonded lightweight single bolt clamping system for the crossbrace, greatly increases strength whilst still allowing flex.
  • Knurling - grip end only - increases bonding between bar and grip.
  • No knurling in clamp area, this could cause stress on the riser and lead to fatigue failure.
  • A specially developed injection-molded crossbar pad is fitted with every handlebar.
  • Note: Renthal Twinwall handlebars require the use of oversized 1-1/8" handlebar clamps.

Renthal Twinwalls are used by more factory teams than any other handlebar, including: Honda Red Bull Racing, Monster Energy Kawasaki, Pro-Circuit Kawasaki, Rockstar Suzuki Canidae, TLD Lucas Oils Honda, Team Honda Martin Racing, Team Kawasaki Europe, Team Suzuki Europe, Factory KTM Europe, HRC Honda Japan, KHI Kawasaki Japan and Suzuki Japan.

Renthal. We build championships™.

Twinwall Handlebars
Well worth the money, I spend more time on the ground than on the bike so I needed a set of bars that could keep up. Renthal Twinwall Handlebars have stood up to some good wipe outs. Current bike KX450F

Weak sauce
i had these for one ride. they look great, but i fell in a corner in 2nd gear today and they bent. no, its not the clamps or anything. the bars themselves bent. maybe i just had a bad set. i suppose keeping my helmet out of the dirt would help lengthen the life of my bars!

If you like the stock bend on the CRF250R and would like something a little bit taller than what you have, then I would go with the CR High bend. These will work out well and if you are unhappy with the width they can always be cut down on each side to make them more narrow.

What size do I need?
I'm 6'3 and I like to ride standing up, I ride a 2010 canam outlander 800R and the stock height is ok but I can afford a little more rise when riding. Im interested in the Renthal twinwall oversized 1 1/8". Can someone help me with the sizing because the size chart helps me none.

I did some checking for you for your application. Keep in mind handlebars are a complete personal preference. These specific bars will not fit your application unless you have installed 1 1/8th inch mounts. If you have the 7/8th mounts still, you will want to go with something like the Pro Taper SE Raptor bend. If you have the 1 1/8th mounts you can do the Pro Taper Contour Raptor bend.

Will an average rider really notice the difference in all these bends?
MotoSport Staff
Over 3 years ago Location: P+RTLAND
Some do some dont, Normally you will notice a difference because they put you in different riding positions even though you may not realize it.

Is there a difference between the rc high and the carmichal high?
Yes. There is a difference in the bends. The best way to see all of the dimensions of Renthal's bars is to go to their website. It gives a good diagram of the difference in the bends.

Whats the difference?
Whats the difference in the pull back of the stewart and the carmichael bend?
Over 3 years ago Location: Remington, VA
The Carmichael bars are almost completely straight, there is almost no bend at all. I'm not sure about the Stewart bars though.

For my 09' CRF250R?

You are correct your stock mounts will not fit you will have to get some fat bar mounts. You may consider replacing the rubber bushings on the mounts as well. All of your stock grips, throttle tubes, perches, levers and hot starts will fit. You will have the option with these bars to use the cross bar mount or not. So you may want to have the appropite style pad for your choice. Hope this helps
