Bad quality

I had the previous version of the Big Bang boots and they lasted for 8 years before the plastic broke down. This version is not good. The finger loop on the back of one of the boots already broke and the plastic buckle on the other boot doesn't stay latched. The laces are a giant pain to pull tight. I don't see these lasting for 8 years. They seem much less durable and poorly made. The only reason they will last for 8 years is I will probably get something else instead and they will sit somewhere. It's a shame because the previous version was very well made with metal buckles that latched securely, good eyelets that let the laces get tight and a finger loop that didn't break in 6 rides. A big dissapointment.

One of the buckles wouldn't stay latched. Flimsy buckles won't last

A: The JOE ROCKET Big Bang 2.0 Boots will hold up to the wet weather however they are not waterproof and would not stay dry over an extended period time or when submerged.
