It's flashy and cool, but not much else.

This light functions well and has no obvious flaws. Just keep in mind that it is simply a halogen light, and will perform very similarly to most stock headlights. Also the LEDs on the sides provide absolutely zero usable light. Trust me, i tried in absolute darkness, and they're purely for show.

Overall a neat light, but you should go for a true LED if you want a better night riding experience.

Great product

Product is much better than my stock headlight.
Had a little trouble wiring it. Wish the diagram
That came with it would show how to wire it
To specific bikes and the different ways to wire
It. I chose to run the LEDs and DRl with the low
Beams

A: Because your bike was not made to power lights, you will have to get a stator with higher output for lighting or have your OEM stator rewound to product more lighting output. To have your stator rewound for higher output I would contact Ricky Stator (http://www.rickystator.com/). There would be wiring with the headlight that would need to be wired into the bikes existing wiring harness. Feel free to give us a call at 888-676-8853 and we would be happy to help you out with your order.

A: You would have to wire it up to the bikes electrical system. Since your bike did not come with lights, the output from the stator may not be strong enough to power the lights effectively. You would need to look into getting a higher output aftermarket lighting stator or getting your stator rewound. You can have your stock stator rewound by Ricky Stator. http://www.rickystator.com/

A: The Acerbis Vision HP LED Headlight Headlight will mount on any dirt bike; it is a universal fitment. Your bike will have to have a lighting stator, regulator and battery to operate the headlight. You can check with companies such as TrailTech, Baja Designs or Steahly Offroad for electrical options.

How much will the wiring have to change. I'm sure the plug input for the headlight bulb must be different. Will my OEM Stator Handle the workload?
