Dyno Tested: Scorpion obtains new motorcycle models from their network of dealers as soon as they become available. Then it's straight into the Dyno room where they test the bike with the O.E.M. exhaust still fitted to see where improvements can be made - not just in power and torque, but also ground clearance, ease of fitment and looks. Each Scorpion exhaust is specifically designed for the particular application. Scorpion exhausts are designed to boost power, not just at peak revs, but through the RPM range, giving you greater throttle response and improved overall performance - especially in the mid-range. They run computer simulated acceleration tests so they can see how much faster the bike will be travelling over a timed burst of throttle.

Legality for the Scorpion Exhaust Serket Slip-On.?
Hello there. I was just wondering if this is street-legal for my GSX650F? I've seen a lot of cans on the web, but most of them just say "for closed course use only". And then it's no point for a commuter/joy-rider. I know there are some noise restrictions in Norway.. And is there a sound improvement from the standard "Bazooka" can that's fitted on the GSX650F? Which some times just sound like a sewing-machine gone crazy.. And is this shippable to Norway in that case? Thank you for response. Michael.

For your local laws i would contact your local shop in Norway as they will have the info on what the exhaust restrictions will be. Even here in the US exhaust regulations vary from state to state, and an exhaust that is legal in one state, may not be legal in another. Usually the legality has to do with sound, find out what your local dB levels are for exhaust and that will help you out greatly. Typically with a quiet core installed these exhausts will meet the noise restrictions but it is up to you to verify exactly what those are where you live.

For the scorpion on a tiger explorer 2012 do I need a power commander?

When adding an aftermarket exhaust a good majority of the time it will need to be re-mapped or re-jetted. A lot of factors play into how your bike will run and is running currently. The main contributors are elevation, temperature and the mapping currently on the ECU from the factory. If you want to make sure it is going to perform properly I would recommend getting the Power Commander. When set up, the bike should run properly and you may even get better fuel mileage.
