The Twin Air PowerFlow Air Filter is a great way to boost the horsepower and performance of your motorcycle.

Twin Air designed their PowerFlow Air Filter to be used exclusively with the Twin Air PowerFlow Kit. The special backfire-resistant layer of foam laminated to the inside of the filter makes the Twin Air PowerFlow filter a quick, ready-to-install assembly.

  • The same factory treatment that race teams and O.E.M.'s receive is now available for all Twin Air users.
  • Comes in a new, re-sealable bag for added convenience.
  • Filter ONLY for use with Twin Air PowerFlow kits.
  • Note: Image is for representation, actual product may very depending on application.

Twin Air

Been runnin Twin air filters since the 90s. They are one of the very best filters you can use. Another great point is they have excellent customer service! Be advised though, only use twin air oil and cleaning products. I used another brand and bagged it for future use (spare) and it fell apart upon removal. Also, Motosport take note, I have brought this to your attention in the past. Power Flows Do NOT come pre oiled as advertised - "Filters are pre-oiled with Twin Air BIO Foam Filter Oil using state of-the-art filter oiling machines to provide the ultimate consistency in pore coverage".

Only choice in air filters

I've used Twin-Air filters since 1990 and never had a single issue. The description leads you to believe you must use the power-flow cage but the filter fits the stock cage with only minor modifications on a 2008 YZ450F. You can remove the screen from the stock cage or purchase a cage for a YZ two stroke. If the bolt is too short simply grind the top of the post down to allow filter to sit closer. Brilliant! I like their filters but not spending 100 bucks for a cage!

Yes this Twin Air Power Flow Filter would come pre-oiled with Twin Air BIO Foam Filter Oil using state of-the-art filter oiling machines to provide the ultimate consistency in pore coverage. The Twin Air Air Filter would not come pre-oiled. Feel free to give us a call at 888-676-8853 and we would be happy to help you out with your order.

Fitting?
I have a 2008 KX250F and was wondering if this filter would fit the stock cage or would i have to purchase the whole power kit?

This filter requires the power flow cage. It will not work with your OEM.

Can i take out my backfire screen?
this product did not come with the cage

This is just the replacement filer for for the power flow kit and is specific to the twin air cage that is not included with this filter. Personally I would leave your screen in there unless you purchase a full kit that eliminates the screen.

Does it only work on power kit cage?
i was playing around with my stock back fire screen and found that the screen only sits inside the filter cage and easly pops out. i was wondering if i could throw one of these filters on the stock plastic cage without the back fire screen in place, or if it could possibly cause a problem?

Yes, this filter only works with the Power Flow Cage.

Wrong. The stock plastic cage will work. they are usually very strong, and the same design as the Twin Air cage.

There is 4 of us in our crew using the Power Flow filter on our 2006 CRF 450R's with the screen removed. It's the same filter as the cheaper one, the power flow filter just has flame retardant foam on the inside.
