Pivot Works began operations in 1999 as the first company in the world to manufacture and market complete bearing and seal kits to the power sports market. The original supplier of chassis and suspension rebuild components for dirt bike and ATVs.

The Pivot Works Swing Arm / Shock / Linkage Bearing Combo includes Pivot Works replacement bearings for each of the following:

Swingarm:

  • Restores handling and suspension control due to worn or rusted swingarm components.
  • Complete kits contain bearings, pins, collars, and seals manufactured to O.E.M. specifications for a perfect fit.
  • Includes Chevron Starplex® EP lubricating grease to ease installation.
  • Considerable savings over O.E.M. pricing.
  • All components for rebuild.

Shock:

  • Kits include two Teflon spherical bearings (cup bearings when used), four seals and related components.
  • Includes Chevron Starplex® EP lubricating grease to ease installation.
  • All shock kits rebuild both ends of the shock absorber.
  • Note: Some shock absorbers on Kawasaki and Honda models use a clevis to connect the shock to the linkage. The bearings, collars and seals which are pressed into the linkage arm are included in the kits.

Linkage:

  • Restores handling and suspension control due to worn or rusted linkage components.
  • Complete kits contain bearings, pins, collars, and seals manufactured to O.E.M. specifications for a perfect fit.
  • Includes Chevron Starplex® EP lubricating grease to ease installation.
  • Considerable savings over O.E.M. pricing.
  • Complete kit for suspension bearing replacement.

Note: All parts are backed by a lifetime replacement offer.

YZ250F 06' Pivot works bearings

OVERALL: Great product. I read a lot about Pivot Works not meeting oem spec bearings. No way.... I used my caliper and measured them. Unless my bike had aftermarket bearings installed by the previous owner, THERE THE SAME! INSTALL: I used my craftsman sockets to pound/press out. If your bike is old like mine, invest in a propane torch or acetlyne. Getting the old bearings out is the tough part. Install is easy. Just make sure you grease the bearings before pressing them in. TIPS: -Have the manual on hand as each part isn't labeled. -Clean the recess in which the bearing will go into, and you almost don't need to use heat when pressing in the new bearings. -Install the bearing with the numbers/letters facing out. Your socket/press should be against the lettering/numbering. RIDING: I'm no pro at motocross, but they made a HUGE difference. My old bearings were neglected by the previous owner and frozen. Rear suspension is so smooth now. I had no idea it'd make that big of a difference. Don't FORGET, you have a warranty so SAVE the packaging. Your basically buying 2 sets of bearings for a lower price then that of a single set of oem bearings! Deffinitly worth it!

Not a flashy upgrade but a critical one

Bearing aren't an exciting upgrade but a necessary one. I usually pull off my linkage and grease it every six months or so. (I average riding 5 hours a week .) But, this time when I pulled off my linkage the bearings were in pretty bad shape. I had never replaced the bearings before and I figured if the linkage bearings were shot the swingarm bearings were also. I was right. So, I ordered up this kit and it contained all the pieces I needed. I had access to a hydraulic press and that made the job quite easy. Just take your time when you are pushing out the old bearings. And, I recommend putting the new bearings in the freezer for about 15 minutes before you try to install them. It makes the job much easier.

Purchased for 2003 YZ250

I decided to tear apart my suspension soon after I purchased my 2003 YZ250 to re-grease the suspension. Later investigation revealed the suspension bearings were all dry, dirty grease with broken needle bearings, etc... Pivot works bearings hooked me right up. The bearings were installed using a press and numerous sockets, and a few jigs. time consuming but was happy with the end results, Suspension feels great!

Pivot works Bearings

Great buy for me, everything that I needed was in this kit combo. They were easy to install, and I did them myself. I had no problems what so ever. They are a really great buy, be better if they were about $10-$15 cheaper. Will recommend to all my friends. And I almost forgot shipping was really fast. Keep up the good work Motosport and Pivot Works.

EVERYTHING you will need is included...

This is truly a complete set of bearings.. I think they perform a little better than OEM ones too because they seem Like they will last longer. They are packaged very nice so nothing's is lost or broken. They are not very simple to install but that's not the manufacturers fault because bearings can be difficult sometimes. But they are well worth it!! Not much else I can say about them other than I really like them!

Most likely not. Each kit is different per machine. We would suggest to look at the OEM parts diagrams to get the parts you are missing.

this is only a bearing/bushing/seal kit. no bolts or nuts are included. We stock Honda/Yamaha/Kawasaki/Suzuki/KTM OEM Parts. So if the bike in question is listed under our OEM list, than yes we do stock those bolts.

Yes you can. http://www.motosport.com/dirtbike/Pivot-Works-LinkageShock-Bearing-Kit If your asking for the Linkage itself, you need to go search oem parts. It says linkage and shock, but thats because your LOWER shock is hooked up to the linkage, so you get lower shock parts too.
