No contest, these are the best bearings on the market.
found out later after not reading fine print that the kit did not come with shock linkage bearing. it did come with the lower swingarm bearing but not the bushing. did come with shock bearing bushing. why bushing and not bearing.
Easy installation. Great fit. I used a vice and two sockets to press the bearings in and the old bearings out. This worked great.
kit worked flawless great price
these bearings are not to factory specs. The small spacers on the lower shock bearings couldn't be used because they are .04 mm narrower and if you torq your lower shock mount bolt to the required spec it pinches the linkage and binds everything up. Had it happin on the 06 and the 07 CRF450. The upper shock bearing is about .06 mm to wide and does not allow you to put the clip in the shock body to hold the bearing in place. Very disapointed I didn't stick with OEM. lesson learned.
If you need to replace bearings on your bike, then this kit is the way to go. All bearings and seals included in one package, and the parts seem to be of great quality. For linkages, you MUST get the bearing removal tool or you will never get the old bearings out!
great buy and deal if you get it with total bearing package. very easy to install and makes the suspension a world of diffrence in handling. the only hard part was taking out all the old bearings out. I have a 2003 CR250 which never got changed before. I had to take a die grinder to get out the old bearing races. once you follow the hint directions of using heat on the linkage and put your new bearings in the freezer, its was all good.
i have used a lot of pivot works bearings, if you grease them properly they will last forever. i cant even begin to tell you how great these are for the price.
I have used pivot works bearings on my Crf450 steering stem and wheels with good results, but then I got this kit and first thing I noticed was needles are smaller than oem in circ. and length. The biggest issue was linkage bolt would not fit the pivot works inner shaft and had to use old factory one.
These bearings are a great replacement for the stock bearings at a better price. Will buy again!
if you need them buy these, you wont regret it. they work great and fit like they are suppose to. this is a great product.
I have a 2001 cr500 and i bought the linkage kit to replace the bearings.Everything fit as if it were stock.Made an easy job a good bit cheaper than stock. The only thing i wish is that the kit came with is the thrust washers and collars. As usual the kit worked extremely well. Thanks
The quality was not as good as I expected. Being the most expensive OEM kit I thought it would compare to Suzuki factory linkage bearings but there was a noticeable difference in quality. The shaft/bearings was nowhere near a snug fit like the Suzuki bearings and one of the pivot works bearings was defected. You couldn't get the shaft to fit through it before it was installed, so I used the 6 yr. old factory bearing instead. I'll pay more for Suzuki next time.
Bought for KX80. Comes with everything you need, seals included, all parts fit perfectly.
INSTALLATION WAS EASY AND THE QUALITY OF THE PART WAS GREAT.
the pivot works linkage bearings took all the slop put of the rear end also was a slick and easy job.
great bearings. They feel so smooth when put in. If you keep them clean and lubbed up right all bearings should last a while you just have to do maintenance to them a lot.
I tore my 400ex down last winter and went over every bearing, bushing, nut, bolt, washer and seal to say the least. I made the mistake of buying "no name" bearings on ebay in the effort to save a few bucks and i caused myself nothing but headaches, the front wheelbearings wouldnt fit, i sent them back, the swingarm bearings fit but there were only half the amount of rollers internally ( they wore out 3 months later) and the shock bearings didnt come with the seals or the metal bushings that the bolt rides in. I ended up replacing all of them with pivot works, which came with everything needed for complete installtion with no hassles or headaches, i will gladly spend the very minnimal extra money for a quality product anyday. keep up the good work
