Great jacket for price

I have had a couple of these jackets, they work well and are durable. Vents well and is as water proof as a jacket can be.
I ride in Oregon year round and need good cold/wet weather riding gear. Last witner I had a crash on a icy/snowy road, I hit the pavement at about 25 mph. It hurt and I was beat up a bit but the jacket had just a scuff on the shoulder. Saved me from a lot of road rash for sure. The matching pants get the same rating from me.
A sizing note; I am 6,3 235 and the xxl fits good, but the sleeves are a bit shorter than I'd like. Not a deal breaker at all but keep in mind when ordering. A long or tall sizing would be nice.

Great Jacket, get it

I bought this jacket on 10/09, what a great jacket!! I live in new England and use it when i plow my very long drive way. i have never been cold, never been wet. The only thing is that it is a little short on the waist but not a big deal at all. I am 6' 2" and 195 lbs. Great, great, great jacket and i highly suggest you get it and a great price.

Q: How can I determine the size I need?

I am interested in the MSR Flak Jacket and I don't know what size to get. I typically wear medium or large, but am not sure. I am 5'9" and about 165 pounds.

A: the sizing is determined mainly on the size of your chest so if you have a measuring tape tape yourself and then there is a chart that you can look at for the correct sizing
