Disappointed

I have owned a Scorpion EXO 700 and EXO 1000, and liked them both. I cannot say the same about this helmet. Here's why.
* The liner has a seam that digs into my forehead, leaving a depression that takes an hour to go away after an hour of riding.
* The rear bottom vent doesn't close. If you ride in cold weather, this is going to be a problem.
* The helmet is a little noisier than the helmets above with the vents closed. With them open, it is WAY too loud, completely unacceptable.
* You would think that the scoop design of the top vents would bring in tons of air, especially given how loud they become. Negative. There is very little fresh air introduced by the venting system.

There are plenty of good properties that I could write about, but for me, the items above are a deal killer.
FYI- this is not a reflection on Motosport, I think you guys are great.

Good full face helmet

I like Scorpion helmets first and foremost. They do tend to run slightly small so if your boderline in sizes, go up to the next size. Now to the helmet. The 1100 EXO is what one would expect from a Scorpion and full face. Not alot of thrills but enough bells to make you more than happy. Let me get the bad out of the way as I always do. The vents are small and numerous on the helmet for you to have to manipulate. There is one under the shield; one on top of the shield; two on both side of the top; and one rear under the small helmet overhang. You need to learn where they are for ease of utilizing when on the fly! I like my EXO 900 vent system better. Easy to find being large and only three! Now I do like the internal workings of the 1100. Great cheek support and the internal air bladder for a firmer fit if needed is great. It is slightly a pain to get to right at the chin! You just have to get use to a new system. My 900 had it on the rear of the helmet. The shield works great for it's anti-fog capability and the internal sun visor is what all helmets should have now days! The anti-microbial interior makes for a great material for cutting down on sweat odor if you sweat like a hog! It is removable for washing as well. The helmet works well too if you have a headset installed like my SENA. The shield has a three position face shield setting (locked so it won't fly open; open position so it will open by hand; and third position to click on opens the helmet 1/4" and locks it for air ventilation). Easy on and off with the side cushion positioned the way it is by Scorpion. This helmet is better than any helmet costing twice the price. Just hope Scorpion keeps them priced the way they do! Highly endorsed!

Can't name anything wrong with it

I just got this for my girlfriend, who's never had a helmet before, and she really loves it. The design is great; it out-does previous Scorpion EXO helmets. There haven't been any issues with fogging or uncomfortableness. It's like a speed racer meets space captain helmet and I can't seem to name anything wrong with it. I'd get it again!

A: Customers seem to be very happy with how quiet this helmet is for this price point and I have not had any complaints of the helmet being noisy. Really the only issue any customers have had with this helmet is the sizing runs slightly small. Other than that slight issue it has very positive feedback and is a great value. Scorpion has been around for a while and is a strong brand. I don't see parts availability for this helmet ending anytime soon.
