Product Description

  • The Icon Airframe helmet features a shell that is constructed out of fiberglass, Dyneema, and carbon fiber which cuts weight like a boxer before weigh-ins yet remains strong like a heavyweight.
  • Oversized intake and exhaust ports allow for mass amounts of air to pass through the Airframe helmet. The closable chin bar vent acts as a defogger by directing air up the inside of the shield.
  • Icon developed the Proshield that is incorporated into the Airframe helmet that can be quickly removed for cleaning or to change to a tinted Proshield. The Prosheild also features the secure Prolock locking system.
  • The removable molded breath deflector in the Airframe helmet keeps fog from building up when your increased heart rate from the twisties induces heavy breathing.
  • Icon pushed air through the Airframe, but sometimes it is not enough to keep you dry so Icon uses the removable and washable Hydradry moisture wicking liner to keep you clean. Icon is never dull and custom printed the liner.
  • A removable chin curtain makes air flow adjustable on the Airframe helmet.
  • All world standards meets or exceeds the following: DOT FMVSS 218 (US), ECE 22-05 (Europe), SAI AS1698 (Australian) and SG (Japan) safety and testing standards. Does not ship with SAI or SG certification stickers unless purchased in that country.

Love this helmet!
I absolutely loved this helmet when I saw it & I had to get it for my first helmet. I was ecstatic to get it. I just got it in yesterday & it's even more amazing in person. Cute and sassy kinda helmet for us female riders. The only thing is I measured my head to be about 21-22 inches the day I ordered it. So I got a small(SM) but it's too big. It fits my bf's head perfectly, but me & my sister are the same size (she has a small shoei helmet) and it fits us both perfectly. I just have to return it for another size because Icon runs a little bigger I guess, but I love this helmet! I will write another review when I get the size that fits me & I actually get to use it. For now I'm stuck with my boyfriend's extra helmet that is still too big for me :/

this was a birthday present for my girlfriend. she loves it. it looks even better than in the pictures and fits her great. i am very pleased with the quality and features of this helmet. very light and comfortable. now i want an icon airframe!
