Product Description

  • Please note: Tire sizes vary by ride, please check your current tire and wheel sizes before placing the order. If you have any questions, please call Customer Service at 1-866-677-7338.

The new Q2 incorporates race-tested advancements that add up to a vastly superior tire equally at home on the street or the track.

  • Intuitive Response Profile (IRP) technology in the rear tire intuitively allows the rider greater latitude in line choice while cornering and provides amazingly linear steering no matter what shape, speed or camber the corner, and at all lean angles.
  • Radical new profile puts down a bigger footprint at extreme lean angles while also allowing greater lean angles and higher corner speeds to provide substantially better grip and handling.
  • Dunlop's advanced Multi-Tread technology combines the benefits of a tough, long-wearing center compound for increased mileage with a special lateral-grip compound on each shoulder for superior cornering traction.
  • New carcass construction in both the front and rear tires includes newly designed continuous hex beads that are both lighter and stronger to enhance steering response in the front tire and increase cornering stability in both tires.
  • Q2 rear tire features a newly developed, stiffer version of Dunlop's Jointless Band (JLB) construction that utilizes a continuously wound aramid belt for reduced carcass distortion, plus stiffer overall construction to meet high-performance demands and provide a more consistent contact patch.

SV Track Tire
Bought the Q2's for my SV650 track bike. I ride a quick intermediate pace. After 3 track days I am pleased with the tires performance. No issues with traction and was even able to pass liter bikes (on a wet track!) They are showing minimal wear and should last 10 plus track days on a low HP bike like an SV.

Great Tires
This is my third bike and I've always ran Qualifiers in the past with good luck. Never had any issues with them in the past exept for the front wanting to skip out once but that was more from me than the tire. I believe any tire would have done that and if anything the Qualifier kept me from going down. I had the Q2s on for a few weeks now and not dissapointed one bit. They are predictable and give confidence when cornering. I can't speak for track performance but for the street these are my top choice.

Great tire
I used these tires on the street and track days when I first started. I still argue that these are the best performing street tires I've every used. Lots of grip, they warm up quickly, and seem to do best with a stiff suspension. When they do slide, its completely predictable. I did one track day on some Michelin 2ct tires and they felt greasy and slippage wasn't predictable at all. The Q2's are fine in the rain, although I never felt the need to act stupid when its wet.. I can't speak for longevity since I seem to wear out the edges before the center. I had 3k miles and 2 track days on a rear (ZX6R) and the middle still had some life left. Its a dual compound tire, with more useable softer (side) compound than the 2ct also. Just FYI, for track days, I ran 30psi front and 26psi rear (cold) with good results.

Great buy!
These are the preferred track/sport tires in the group that I ride with. MotoSport had the best prices, and showed up in three days as advertised. As a noobie on the track, I run at nearly street pressures so mine don't seem to be wearing quite as quickly as I see on some other bikes, but then again, my lap times aren't as good either. :) They work very well for both track and street riding. I won't be going back to "normal" sport/touring tires. I appreciate the extra performance these offer on the street.

Great tire
These are the best tires I have owned! They wear very well, I do a lot of commuting and they don't get the flat spot like I got with my old Battle Axes... Love these tires, and recommend them for sure!

Good track day tires
Good track day tires. Sticky enough that I can't spin up the rear. The front lasts almost the whole season, while sticking nicely. The rear is done in a few days. (You can get a couple more days out of the Michelin SC2 rears, for example.) I'm using the Q2 front these days. I ride a 600.

These would be a great choice in tires if your are looking for something that will perform well without sacrificing a lot of mileage. They offer quite a bit of traction and are a popular choice. These tires are sold without wheels, the the image is just used for reference. When ordering please make sure to select the sizes that correspond with your model before adding them to your cart.
