Its a great must need tool if you work on your own bike or for even proffesional use i have no complaints it was easy to use and it got the job done quikly
This tool makes installing swing arm bearings way easier then any other way.
These will work ok in a bind, but my bearings were in such bad shape it took alot with these to get them in and out.
These guys are the best, wont buy no where else motosports.com #1
Put swingarm bearings in my kx450. Made the process super easy.
I always tried to do the bearing changes with sockets and washers as you can find online alternatives to the actual tool. The tool is way better. This tool makes replacing bearings a breeze. I would highly recommend this tool.
Work real well for the removal and install kit bearing and swing arm bearings
Tool works great. This was my first try at replacing bearings and this tool made it simple. Used it for swing arm and linkage bearings.
This is a great tool, though not one to used everyday over and over as it is not meant to be would be my guess. For those who change there bearings out ona a few bikes a couple times a year totally awesome tool.
Worth the money, easy to use.
If you strip the threaded rod, your using it incorrectly
I DID NOT WANT TO BUY ONE , BUT AFTER I USED IT,IT WAS THE BEST TOOL FOR ITS COST
the tool worked great! have used on my kawasaki and Ktm. Just be sure to keep the threads clean and greased..
I used 1/2 inch sockets to push out the bearing. The nuts stripped out. Used a steel bolt and galvanized nuts and held out better.
The idea is good but the tool is weak could not even push out a 85 swing arm bearing without breaking.
It does everything it says and also removes and installs shock linkage bearings easily.
I bought this tool in order to replace the bearings in my shock linkage. The description says this should work for removing and installing the linkage bearings. This tool comes with several different diameter fittings to remove the differing size bearings on swing arms and linkages. The one that was sized for my linkage was slightly too wide, so I had to sand it down to even get it to work at all. Even then I had to resort to other means in order to remove the bearings. Installing the bearings with this tool went pretty smoothly.
did the job amazingly and paid itself off, we called a local mx shop and they wanted over $150 to do it. great product
All I can say is that these are worth the money if you want to replace swingarm/linkage bearings. They make the job really easy. I used it on a 2007 YZ250F and a 2006 CRF250R.
My only problem with this tool was that I was trying to remove my old bearings. Unfortunately it was only made to press new bearings in. So just make sure your not purchasing to remove. Other than that it worked great to press my new set in.
Does not work on 2003 cr85r!! for 1990-2000 model bikes!!
