I had to rebuild the master and caliper cylinders, because the previous owner must have used DOT5, instead of 4. They don't mix, hence I ended up with a bunch of gel. I decided to rebuild the entire front and rear brake systems. After a lot of work, I got everything rebuilt and working. The front was difficult to prime, but after a lot of persistence, I got everything going. These new systems work nicely now.

My brakes were bled several times but still felt like they had air in them and didn't give me any stopping power. I used this kit and they feel good again. Their not so strong I could do a front hand stand with them, but that might be a different problem.
Was having issues with low brake lever. Rebuilt the master cylinder and bled with ease. It was direct fit. Been under extreme motorcriss and woods abuse.
Rebuilt the rear master cylinder, worked like a charm
This was much easier to install than I expected. I had a snap ring tool, which you definitely need. Other than that, just basic screwdrivers, a decent workspace, and 15 minutes or so. Piece of cake.
I can't tell how effective the kit was because I think I have other problems down the line.
I had a problem with a seal leaking internally providing an soft brake feel. Bleed numerous times with no improvement. Installed this kit (which comes with everything you will need) and bleed the system, brakes are working like new.
My buddy and were riding a few weeks ago and a limb popped up and hit my bike right behind the right footpeg and I lost my back brakes. I ordered this kit and a new brake hose and it got me going again. It has all the parts to rebuild your stock master cylinder. The most difficult part is removing the c-ring. Invest in some good ring pliers and you will be glad. I've used these rebuild kits several times and have always had good luck.
I was skeptical of this kit because the price was lower than I expected. But, all the parts were included and looked to be exactly like the worn OEM products I was replacing. Good brakes are always a good thing.
Easy to install. Parts fit like oem. Brakes work like new.
was easy to install and worked great
Quality seems to be exact match to original specs and quality. No instructions included, but the job isn't too bad if you have intermediate mechanical knowledge. Definitely need a set of lock ring pliers unless you like beating and prying around with a flat head screw driver in a very small cylinder! First and foremost ascertain that your old one is actually faulty. You can GENTLY clamp your brake line hose just below the master cylinder using vice grips with a rag or some kind of buffer material so as not to damage your brake line. Then try to pump the brake. If its hard as a rock, yours is good. If it leaks or has no resistance you need a new one. In my case, I bought the new, installed it only to find out that the previous owner had already installed an aftermarket one. The brake components on Honda's are notorious for becoming useless after years of exposure to mud and water.
Easy install works great
Appear to have OEM quality at a much lower price. I've used one of these kits for 3 years now on my 2005 CR250R and I've since intalled one on my Kawi.
Appear to have OEM quality at a much lower price.
Great product! Easy to install. My 03 KX250 stops like it should now!!
