Installed in less than 20 minutes, works great! A must have for every bike!
I tested on my v-twin first, and it seemed to be correct. Installed quickly on my 450. Only thing is the tach doesn't seem to go above 4,XXX rpm. Great hour meter for the price though. Very easy install.
Dont know about longevity but it works well so far on my 05 crf450r
Works good, easy to install. I recommend....
It was easy to install and it works fine, BUT... you must hit the select button to change from tachometer to hour meter and back. Most similar products show hours when not running, then go to ram's as soon as it starts.
Been through 3 of these. The one on my 125 still works after over 5 years. The two I have put on my 250f and 250 2stroke, not so well. The 250f made it to just a tad over 130 hours then it knocked itself crazy. The meter on my 250sx made it to just over 18 hours before it went bonkers. It seemed after we had to disconnect it for a regional qualifier, it never was the same afterwords. Not sure if I would buy this specific one again. Seems like it may be hit or miss.
One of the best ways to stay on top of preventative maintenance and keep your bike fresh with out doubting how long its been since the last oil change ect.
i have not got to use yet, but had great reviews so i am trusting all them.
Great hour meter! Mounted really easy with 3M sticky tape. Stuck really good! Really liked the rpm gauge on it! If your looking for a simple hour meter this is the one!
Works great. Easy install. However, on my son's CRF150R I had to wrap the wire around the cap itself and not the wire. There is a small groove to run the wire around.
recommended. hour meter with tach is good for tuning. This one has the lead removable, which i think is a plus and allows routing the lead from the top or bottom. Priced best too.
It does its job as an hour meter very well. Installation is very easy. The Tachometer is slow to display numbers and only goes up to 9000 so its more for fun.
I currently have three of these in operation and use the hour meter to guage when to rebuild the top ends in 2strokes. They have all held up well to the abuse of MX racing week after week and pressure washing between motos and at the end of the races. One has over 40hrs, while the other two have 18 & 21 hrs - so far no problems or issues with this product. Easy and quick to install as well.
I thought it would be harder to install than it was. I wanted to just use the double sided tape to mount it, but was afraid to as the screw holes stuck up farther than the rest of the back and I was afraid it wouldn't stick good enough.
It works great as advertised. It would be nice if you could see the hour meter when it was running, though. The tach feature is cool. I suppose it would cost more money if you could switch between tach and hour meter display when it was running, but it would be nice...
I'm satisfied with the product as is and would buy it again and recommend it to my friends. I've only put 1 1/2 hours on it, so I can't speak to it's durability...
