I ride a 2014 Yamaha TTR-230 and replaced the stock tires with the star cross 5 medium and added tubliss system to it. Hoping for more grip when it came to hard technical stuff... well it worked to well. A 230 doesn't have enough power to climb a hill and keep its momentum in 2nd gear and often find my self in first trying not to wheelie and flip it doing hill climbs. It does every thing well, hard packed clay, orange clay mud, rocks wet or dry. Very aggressive look for a aggressive tire. That's all I have to say about that. ;)

this tire started off by completely impressing me in every way. hooks up everywhere, very light and easy to put on. but after it got worn down about half way, the knobs along the sides of the tire started to rip off completely. the tire is still in fair condition, but with the knobs torn off and the nylon cords showing i guess ill scrap it. maybe my situation is a fluke, but with my experience i wont be buying again.
I purchased this tire to use in the Arizona desert using a bib mousse. I took it out for a 36 mile ride through sand, rock, tight twisties and pea-gravel and the tire hooked up great. The guy behind me said I was really sending up the roost! So far, I really like this tire for the riding I do.
These things hook up everywhere. They say installation is super easy, but it took alot more effort than expected to mount. I will be buying these again likely.
I installed this tire on the bike then took off to the local track. I have never felt such grip on any other tire that I have rode on. These things inspire confidence in cornering at high speeds, and the overall traction is unheard of. If you aren't running these on your bike you are missing out.
I find that MX 32's like to break down too quickly for my budget. This tire is GREAT quality, feels lighter and lasts longer. I may be a fan for life
Have used the older version of this tire and this new version is even better. I ride hare scrambles on a 125, last race was very muddy and traction was great as I was passing 450 four strokes through the mud and slippery sections. Not sure how long it will last but I buy tires for performance, not longevity. Also works great on my 250f on the mx track.
