Great product

fit perfect... a bit on the expensive side, but looks and fits awesome. I also bought the disk guard to match directly from light speed as Motosport didn't sell it.

Person preferance.

I've got the coolest looking bike at any race I go to. Doesnt improve my riding one bit! These started to crack after my first race. Dont hold up well for the money but I do stand out in a crowd. Will only enhance the look of your bike. Do yourself a favor and spend the money on new tires!

Just Bling

I was given a brand new set of these when I bought a used bike. They look decent, but did not hold up well at all. I was floored when I saw how much they cost. They offer no extra protection or weight savings compared to OEM.

If I bought Graphics for the stock guards, would they fit on these?

They should be very close for most models. You may need to trim the graphics a little to get them to fit the Lightspeed Fork Guards.

Fitting ion yz250?
Have a 2001 yz 250. Back then they had fork guard guides on forks. Most guys take them off because they rubbed. My questions is are these made to run without the fork guard guides like the newer yz's?

Lightspeed does NOT list the Carbon Fiber Lower Fork Guards for your year of motorcycle. Just be sure to correctly select the Year/Make/Model of your bike before ordering so we can be sure to send you the correct 2001 yz 250 for your bike

Lightspeed Lower Fork Guards?
Why will these work with a 2004 Honda CRF250R and not a 2004 Honda CRF250X? What is the difference?
Expert Top 1 Contributor MotoSport Staff
1 year 1 month ago
No, unfortunately they are different and Lightspeed doesn't currently offer fork guards/covers for the Honda CRF250/450X models. The difference is going to be that the right fork guard/cover has an attachment for the odometer cable on the X models and the R models do not.
