Size Matters

Of the two size options if you're plannin on running track then the smaller option is ok. But if you are running desert or trails I would go with the larger size because it changes your gearing a ton.

Good tire

Since ITP nor Maxxis make a XC tire in this size, this is the best thing I have found for the mini class. Son says he can climb anything with these.

Awesome Tires

Just got these tires on the back of my yfz 450r and they made a huge difference over stock. They hookup really good and make the quad handle like a whole different machine. Overall the best tire ive ridden yet.

Hooked up!

The rear mxr6's hook really hard on my 05 trx. So much that i have a hard time with keeping the front end down! If it does slide in the corner it is very controllable. This is my second pair after three years and i would say thats pretty good. They still had good traction even at the end of their life. Better than some other comparable tires new. The trick is to stay off the road and they will last.

Hook up hard

These tires hook hard, just ran them at an arenacross on my Cannondale and had forgotten how well tires could hook. They do wear pretty quickly on hard pack but for the drive they give it is worth it for me. ITP tires are always one of my favorites for my quad.

Great traction!

These things HOOK UP! Tire compound reduces wheel slip. Make sure you're on soft dirt though. If you have a powerful 4-stroke and your track gets hard packed kiss these babies good bye. Over all great tire!

Itp always delivers

these tires hook up like no other. predictability in turns where races are won is what makes them out perform the rest. I have run many of the other brands out there but, I always come back to holeshot mxs!

Okay

These are awsome if you only race on mx tracks that arent hard packed. I went to the local track and it was hard as a rock but i also rode in some woods. after i got home i looked at my tires an the knobs were gone. i wish i couldve gotten my money back or had gotten Maxxis Razar's. but they were good on the track.

Best mx tire period

This tire is awesome. It is way better than the razr mx tire. Soo much hook up and it keeps the front end down too. ITP is all I will ever buy.

Nothing but grip

These tires are awesome. All they do is grip. They wear a little fast but not that bad at all as long as you are off cement. They do awesome on the track. They're the best for those straight runs to hit a jump and holeshots. They also help keep that front end down. Overall, great tire.

Nice tires

they are a tire that handles very in the corners, it doesent fell like its goin to give out when u come into the corner fast and hard. they also wear slowly and u dont have to buy new tires as much.

A: Yes. When looking at wheel size the first number is your wheel diameter and the second number is the wheel width (in inches). Feel free to give us a call at 888-676-8853 and we would be happy to help you out with your order.

Q: I have a 2002 yamaha blaster . My question is what size tire is best or recomended for trail riding.20x11-9 or 18x10-8.? Thankyou?

A: You also want to know if you are buying new rims or not because if your using the old rims you want to make sure the last number of the rim matches the last number of the tire. and it really doesnt matter which you go with the will work equally on the trail.

A: The thickness of the tire.

A 2ply wont be as thick as a 6ply
Fite617
A: tire thickness, a higher ply of tire will usually take alot longer to wear a softer tire like a 2ply would wear pretty fast.

Q: Holeshots vs. Razrs?
What would you think the better tire would be for racing, trail riding ,and just messin around. '18 holeshots or '18 razrs? For grip and wear?

A: I would suggest the ITP Holeshot as they outsell Maxxis.
landon3
A: you should get maxxis razr but i would get the razr or razr 2 the razr mx wears down extremely fast in trail situation the razr mx is a track tire
Raptor250Rider

A: I would go with the holeshots my friend has a raptor 660 that has razr tires and i dont like them at all, and for what your doing i would go with the ITP Holeshot GNCC tires.

A: They will fit, but they will be about 2in shorter than stock.
Fite617
A: all depends on ur wheel size, if ur stock wheels are a 9" diameter then yes, if there an 8" they wont, the first number is height, the second is width, the last number is your wheel size.i think stock wheels are a 9" so any other tire in a 9"wheel will work so a 18x10x9 for ex will fit.or buy a set of wheels and do whatever you want!
