  • ITP developed the Holeshot GNCC ATV tire to match the rigorous demands of the Grand National Cross Country Championship series.
  • The ITP Holeshot GNCC tires are an advanced design of the original Holeshot tire that have been refined for todays 4-stroke machines.
  • The tread pattern on the rear Holeshot GNCC tires have been designed to be used in any terrain at any time. ITP accomplished this by using deeper lugs that have a split-knob design to give exceptional straight line bite. The shoulder knobs have been specially designed to increase corner control without taking anything away from acceleration grip. The wide spacing of the tread keeps the tire clear of build-up.
  • The beating tires take in the GNCC series is under control with the use of a beefed up 6 ply carcass, but do not expect any extra weight from the Holeshot GNCC tires. The GNCC model of the Holeshot tire line is 2 pounds lighter than the XC model.
  • The sides of the Holeshot GNCC tires have a bright hot patch logo to announce the quality of tires you are running.
  • Note: the ITP Holeshot GNCC tire is sold individually.

Best rear tires!!!! Tire beed a little tuff.

These are the only rear tires I am ever gonna buy. Great on hard dirt, grass, mud, steep hills, even good on sand. But there is a rubber tire beed that protects sticks and misc. stuff that is difficult to get on the outside of the rim. It took some elbow grease, but the beeds on the tires work fantastically.

Holeshot gncc 20x10x9

Holeshot gncc 20x10x9 ...2005 trx450r .....these tires are excellent, the traction and hook they have are un-real..... My stock honda 450 took the holeshot and beat a Yamaha 450 that was completely worked in a sandy straight away I highly recommend itp holeshot gncc tires.... Never mind the price they are well worth it....you get what you pay for

Good Tire

Tire is very good. way better than stock, very perdictiable, hooks up when needed, and slides when needed. seemd durable, but lugs are kinda soft,so rough terrain and roots seem to tear them up. all around great tire.

Awesome

These are my favorite tires i have ever owned. They seem more beefy and more geared towards woods riding then your typical holeshot tire. Love them though, last forever and provide great traction.

Whats the diff between 4 ply and 6 ply?
MotoSport Staff
Over 5 years ago Location: P+RTLAND
Drewski
The thickness of the tire. 4ply isn't as thick as a 6ply

The 6 ply is a thicker, more puncture resistant tire. The down side is a stiffer ride and more unsprung weight.

how thick the side wall is, and durablity of the tire

Jasherz
4 ply tires are lighter because they use less rubber but are less durable. 6 ply have thinker rubber and more durable. It depends on what terrain you drive on to choose which one to get.

What psi should it be at?
what should the psi be for a 20*10*9 tire for all riding surfaces

I'd recommend anywhere from 8-10psi

Average is around 5-6 psi, but rider preferences apply. We've ran less than 4 psi in some cases and 10+ psi for MX.

rider preference, I run between 8 and 10 psi in mine on the mx track, depends on how hard you ride, some prefer 3-5 psi for smoother ride, the more pressure you use the less likely you pop tire off the beed when rideing though a corner really hard

On my TRX400EX my owners manual says to put 6psi. I put 6psi in my ITP GNCC tires and they are perfect when riding.

GNCC vs. Maxxis Razr 2?
Which tire would perform better on trails and just messin around riding the ITP GNCC or Maxxis Razr 2? Also which tire wears the quickest?
Expert MotoSport Staff

james718
If you trail ride more often I'd suggest going with the GNCC tire over the Razr2. Both of these tires wear comparable.

The razr will probably wear a little faster. Take it from someone who's done this for a long time "the holeshot tires are hard to beat". I've been a fan and user for over 30 years.

No you just get the tire. But you can go to tire/wheel combos and I think you can mix and match tires and wheels.

these are tires only, if you are looking for wheels or maybe a wheel and tire package you'll need to search for them similar to how you located these tires.

yes, when pick the wheels you are buying it should give you styles availible to choose from, but you have to buy the wheels they dont come with the tires

MotoSport Staff

The Gncc are a good all around tire. So they should hook up just fine in those conditions.

yes, these are great tires for lots of different conditions, I was stationed in whidbey island washington, with lots of rain, still great tire, mud, dirt, even does good in sand, unless it get really fine sandy dunes.
