This is one of the best things I've put on my 2015 CRF450. I was having issues shifting, going into false neutral on many occasions. Stock lever got bent so I figured it was time to step up my shift lever game.. I have size 12 boots so I added the +15 tip and this thing has made riding that much more fun! I have not missed a shift since and the thing looks pretty trick to boot!
I've had this shifter for about 20 hours of ride time, strictly motocross, and it shows no signs of wear, and it looks great! Highly recommend!

Ordered this shifter to replace a worn out stock shifter on a 2000 YZ 125, and I feel a little silly. The fit is wonderful, the angle and size is perfect. Shifting is actually a little easier due to the increased leverage from the large barrel at the tip, in fact a little to easy at times, slight nudges from my boot have shifted the bike unexpectedly up and down. My biggest complaint is I put 6 hours on the lever and the anodizing is wearing out in several spots already. I expected it to wear, but this is a little ridiculous. I ordered this company because of its reputation and the coloring fit the scheme of my bike. I ordered a tusk rear brake lever over a year ago and all the black is still clean, only the very edge of the lever tip is missing color. Compared to the hammerhead shifter, you would think the brake lever is brand new. I understand that a 125 gets shifted a lot, but come on 6 hours? Not completely happy with that.
After five laps on the track shifter bent .Hitting the case. Had to bend it back into place.
the new shift lever on my kids bike looks great but for the price the different size tips should come with the lever but other than that he loves the overall look of the lever thank you
Fits well, bike shifts better. The stock shifter was bent and had over 400 hrs of use.
I was very pleased with this product it was worth the money. no problems on my honda crf 450r. i would advise trying the stock 10mm shifter lever tip before buying a different one. I bought a 15mm and it wasnt that much of an improvement.
Had to pull up short on a double at the last minute (rider cut into my line and rolled the jump) - hit hard and my toe caught the shifter. Completely stripped the threads - rendering it totally useless. A real bummer because it was comfortable.
This is a good product. Its a little long for my size 9 foot but i can work with it.
Not only does this shifter look much better than stock, it performs much better also. I get much better feel from the larger tip and have not missed a shift yet since installing it on my '08 YZF450. Color is holding and not scratched, at all, after some put downs on the track and in the sometimes rocky desert. Quick and easy install and fit too, just a little adjusting to get it just right.

When I horse-shoe'd my oem shifter I knew what I was gonna upgrade to! Hammerhead shifters have a reputation for being stronger and the ability to suit every rider, makes it a pretty easy choice.
Noticed the difference right away, it's a little bit longer than the OE one and a lot more grip. It's the part to buy if your having trouble hitting you shifts and slipping off the lever. Best part is you can buy replacement ends since they go out way before the lever will. I will put this lever on any bike I own .
Well I can definantly say that this lever looks cooler than stock, but as far as durability is concerned I am not too sure. I realize that there is no such thing as unbreakable but this thing snapped clean off about an inch away from the base during a pretty standard crash. I am not sure if it was just a defect in mine or what.....
had the shifter on for two rides I'm a bigger guy and stand up a lot so it might have been part of the problem, but the spindles that grab onto the shaft all stripped out. when i called hammer head to get it replaced they told me thats the only thing they dont cover... They know they have a problem with it and they wont cover it. otherwise it felt great shifting didn't miss a shift and looked awesome. I will not buy their products again because of their poor exchange policy.
This shift lever is great! Cheaper than oem and a lot better quality. The fit was perfect too
This shifter is ten times better. as soon as I bolted it on I could tell a 100% difference in shifting the. there is no play or gaps when you shift. it's firts second no problem . and looks cool
