  • Fitment

Galfer's standard brake line kits are anything but standard. They start off by using high-quality machined banjo fittings and bolts. Kits are bike specific and are tailored to each bike for perfect fit and finish. Unlike many other manufacturers, Galfer pre-positions their banjo fittings for an out-of-the-box fit. But, if you need to fine-tune them, you can adjust their position.

Most Galfer brake line kits come with labels on the lines to help guide you on which end goes where, something not found with any other manufacturer today. They also offer a lifetime guarantee against any manufacturing defects.

  • Instructions for most applications.
  • Virgin PTFE.
  • 64 lines of steel braid.
  • Pre-positioned banjos for easy installation, although adjustable as needed by hand.
  • Made in the U.S.A.
  • Lifetime warranty.

Great way to improve the brakes on any bike

Braided steel brake lines give the best improvement in braking feel over and above just replacing brake fluid. I don't think it really adds to the power of your brakes (unless you were running out of lever travel), but the firmer lever gives better control for sure. Be patient and do a good job bleeding the air out of the lines after installing them and you won't be disappointed!

Only lines i will ever buy !

Galfer , hands down makes the best brake lines...the swivel ends are awesome! They seem to be just the right about of thickness for bending and staying in place....expensive, but worth it.

Great brake mod

The RMZ has a pretty lousy rear brake. This cable did the trick in turning it into a braking monster! A great and simple mod.

Great quality

Installed this line on my 05 CRF250R. Was a little difficult to install the upper line banjo bolt being that the head was rather large when compared to the OEM bolt, but at least the quality and appearance was leaps and bounds better. Took my braking to a whole new level!

Big improvement over stock

These lines eliminate the flex that is found the the stock lines. It makes the pedal feel alot firmer. I dont know why I didnt buy these sooner.

Great Galfer!

I recently changed brake lines on. Both my 2000 kx250 and my 2011 YZ450F. Both stop great now, without the expense of purchasing g oversized brake kits. Very easy to install and everything is Included, with the exception of Brake fluid.

How long is the total length of this brake line?

The length of the line would depend completely on the bike/atv the line is made to fit. The line would be 4" longer than the stock rear brake line on your bike.

I do not have an exact measurement for the length of this line for your 1998 Suzuki RM250, but it would be made to the same specifications as the OEM line so it should be the same length as the stock rear brake line on your bike.

What is the overall length of the line including the connector ends?

To determine the length, I would need a model to use as an example since they will vary in length.

If you search for " Brake Line " in the seach box on the upper left of your screen it will bring up all the brake lines that we stock. If you dont see them then you probably have your bike profiled and they do not fit your model. We offer +6 and +10 Galfer lines.

no. you'll have to get extended brake lines to match your swing arm. like +6 if you have a 6 inch extention. I can get extentions if you need them. Rich ext 5679
