Works wonders

It's extremely easy to install and works wonders for my rider in the corners.

A good buy

Seat bump works great I bought the cover with the bump the first time for my 07 rmz250 and loved it got a 2013 rmz250 this year and wanted my bump back but still wanted my stock cover bought the bump even though factory effex said it wouldn't work with the stock cover but it does and looks great. just took the staples out from the back to the middle of the seat put the bump on and stretched the cover back over real factory look.

Great product

Fit perfectly on my CRF450. You can adjust the bump to any position that is most comfortable to your riding style. It really helps keep yours weight up on the tank more.

Hard to install

Beware! This is very hard to get a clean looking seat when using the SDG tall seat cover. The package on the bump says it will work but it is very hard to make it look nice. I would say spend the extra money and get the factory effex seat cover.

Otherwise the bump is a good way to keep you in your proper rider position when you start getting tired in the middle of a long moto.

Factory Effex The Bump Seat Foam

Installed quick and easy, looks good and fits nice under the factory seat cover. Adhesive is a nice touch to keep in place.

Very helpful!

if you like being in place and want to get away from the sliding back on the seat from the power of a 450.. this can help keep your butt planted. easy to install and better with a high tach seat cover.

extremely easy to install, looks and works better with a gripper seat cover. it stays in place very well, the foam isn't like other step foams on the market, it is very firm and makes the step very noticeable. it works very well at keeping your center of weight over the pegs where it should be.

A: The bump is roughly 5 ½” wide x 12” long and 1 ¼” tall at the highest point.

Q: We are restoring a 1973 Honda xl175 and need seat foam. Will this work to look like the factory foam of that year that is on the seat pan?

A: the Factory Effex Bump Seat Foam is added on top of the existing foam to better keep the rider in the desired position on the bike.

I would recommend taking the seat to a custom upholstery shop and see if they can replace the foam on the seat pan for you.

Q: Stock cover?

will this bump work with the stock cover on an 07 crf250r?

A: Yes, this should work with your stock cover. It's going to be really tight getting it on though.

A: Yes, that's what we used. It should be set out in the sun or use a hair dryer to help stretch it a tiny bit. I also trimmed about 1/2 inch of foam from the front edge of the seat so it would pull back and lay right. We are very pleased with the results. My rider likes the front edge of the bump about 8" back from the front edge of the seat. This provides a saddle to plant him in place to attack the turns. He sits down in front of the front edge of the bump in turns.

A: No, you will need to get the Factory Effex Bump seat cover to accommodate for the bump. The One Ind cover won't accommodate the bump.
Over 3 years ago Location: MD
A: I would say yes factory effex would tell you no but I bought one for my 2013 rmz250 and used my stock seat cover and looks great. if the cover already on when you get the bump just take the staples out from the back up to the middle of the seat both sides then put the bump on then stretch the cover back over. start stapling from the front to the back do both side at the same time don't staple one side all the way at a time.

I have a 2002 cr 250 w/ a one industries "complete" seat. Will this seat bump work for my application?
Over 7 years ago Location: Datil, NM
A: Yeah it should, if it is too large you can always take a box cutter or an exact-o knife and cut the foam. just be careful to do it slowly or you will risk ripping it
