Excel's new A60 rims are structurally 15% stronger than current Excel Takasago Signature Series Rims, yet A60 rims remain the same weight. A60's new V-curve profile helps reduce mud buildup, keeping your bike lighter than your competition. A60 is available in black and is characterized by a metallic silver pinstripe along the edge of the rim giving A60 a distinct "works" look. A60 rims can be laced to stock, Excel Pro Series or Talon Ultra Lite-II hubs. A60 is developed for the professional racer looking for increased wheel strength and durability.

  • The new A60 MX Rim was specifically developed to meet the demands of today's aggressive riders.
  • 15% stronger than current rims weighing the same or less.

Rim Specifications:

  • Rim type: Rear.
  • Rim size: 19".

Great buy!

I recently bought these for my KX along with RAD MFG. spokes and green nipples. These wheels look incredible and are the strongest I have ever used. I wasn't sure about the silver stripe around the rim at first but after I built the wheels and put the tires on I'm glad I got the A60's over the regular Excels.

Do you offer the A60 in a combo wheel kit? Also is it drilled for 32 or 36 spokes and will heavy duty spokes fit or stock? And is it drilled for locks?

At the moment we dont have an A60 wheel combo. You will need to run Excel spokes, depending hard to say how many spokes it will be with out knowing what bike it's for, but if you profile your bike correctly you will receive a rim that is pre drilled with the correct amount of spoke holes and for a rim lock.

Will this work?
i was wondering if this rim will work with my stock 01 kx250 hub, if i could lace it to it? also, theres a few different sizes for the front and back rims, i was wondering what the stock or standard size of rim for both front and back usually are for a kx250?

Stock sizes would be a 21 up front and a 19 on the rear. You can run these with your stock hub and you should be able to lace them up yourself. Lacing can be confusing so if you haven't done it before I would recommend a mechanic to lace them.

Does the excel A60 use the same hub and spokes as my stock excel wheel on my 07 rmz 250?

This rim will fit the oem hub but you will need to use the excel spoke kit to complete the build.
