Excel's new A60 rims are structurally 15% stronger than current Excel Takasago Signature Series Rims, yet A60 rims remain the same weight. A60's new V-curve profile helps reduce mud buildup, keeping your bike lighter than your competition. A60 is available in black and is characterized by a metallic silver pinstripe along the edge of the rim giving A60 a distinct "works" look. A60 rims can be laced to stock, Excel Pro Series or Talon Ultra Lite-II hubs. A60 is developed for the professional racer looking for increased wheel strength and durability.

  • The new A60 MX Rim was specifically developed to meet the demands of today's aggressive riders.
  • 15% stronger than current rims weighing the same or less.

Rim Specifications:

  • Rim type: Front.
  • Rim size: 21".

Note: Rim only, spokes sold separately.

Great buy!

I recently bought these for my KX along with RAD MFG. spokes and green nipples. These wheels look incredible and are the strongest I have ever used. I wasn't sure about the silver stripe around the rim at first but after I built the wheels and put the tires on I'm glad I got the A60's over the regular Excels.

A60s on a 2016 ktm 350?
What spoke set would I have to run with this for the 16 KTM 350?

You would need to purchase the Excel spoke and nipple kit, same as the standard rim. If it is available through one of our suppliers for your bike, we would be happy to order it for you. Please contact one of our sales professionals to inquire about special orders and availability.

This particular rim would not fit your KTM 990 Adventure. You would need to get the replacement OEM wheel from KTM for that particular bike. The KTM part number for that wheel would be 6000907010030.

Will my stock spokes work?
The rim on my 2007 YZ250F are Excel Takasaga's will the spokes work on the A60 or do I need to replace them as well. And do you know how much to torque the spokes?

Normally with Excel rims you have to run Excel spokes. I would recommend picking up some fresh excel spokes though since your stock ones could be stretched out.
