Quality pads

I've used these pads front and rear for many years when I replace worn, or contaminated pads.
Personal preference: I've found the best application for these to be on the rear, as they offer high quality resistance to over heating, and many riders are more prone to dragging the rear brake (and using it to help turn) than the front. I like the performance of a sintered pad on the front as I prefer more bite there vs the rear.
This particular purchase was for a buddy's '07 CRF450R; front and rear.

Excelent stoping- poor wear

these have excellent feel, control, and feed back. they are unparalleled for woods riding. they do however wear out unbelievably fast. i can only get three races from a set at best. some times i change them after one race if it is a real mudder.

EBC brakes cr250

Bought these a couple weeks ago. I'm an avid woods rider and I'm always on the back brakes. They show no wear yet and the red shoes look nice in the caliper. Real easy to install and seem to be holding up well

The best

If you go fast off road or mx and need the best front brake pads you can get, these are it. They're typically red, not black as commonly shown, not as durable as sintered metallic pads, but much better feel and don't grind down your rotors.

I'll only use these from now on

awesome quality. Impressed by the performance and behavior that is greatly noticeable. The predictability of how they respond while under heavy breaking is what I'm most impressed with. Like all carbon pads they need to heat up quite a bit before they act accordingly, and when they do they are perfect. Most noticeably under heavy breaking is how the brakes will bind on the rotor and not lock up unpredictably. They give you a nice heavy drag when you need it and they still bite hard and quick when you want them to, but any good pads do that, the heavy drag is the ticket man, the heavy drag...

Just OK

Pads installed easy and fit well. Seem to lack stopping power of the oem pads. Also, being an auto technician I was unpleasantly surprised to find I needed two sets to complete the front brake job. Im used to getting enough pads to do one axle.

EBC REDS ROCK

These brake pads are the bomb for enduro. They aren't grabby like sintered metal pads. So your suspension doesn't get upset when you come in hard to turns and hammer the brakes. Much more progressive then stock KTM metal pads.

Nice rear pads

These pads are great for the rear because they do not get hot. Don't use on the front because the stopping power isn't good. For the rear they are great though!

Extreme heat no problem

Awesome pads for extreme heat. Fixing rear brake loss on KTM. Only downside to me is they don't last long enough, but they are worth it not to loss the rear brake in a race.

A: For mud, sand and wet conditions the EBC R Series Sintered Brake Pads are recommended.
The EBC "X" Series brake pads are ideal for hot dry conditions. Feel free to give us a call at 888-676-8853 and we would be happy to help you out with your order.

A: They should work great. The carbon series should hold regardless of temperature. Within reason. Im possitive that they will perform just as well as any pads out there. I ran mine through the snow, and i felt no difference. hope this helps

A: it has been my experience carbon pads work fine in ice and snow. however the mud will cause them to wear very fast. carbon pads cool very well. so if you splash a creek the first stop may have poor feed back feel.

A: You shouldn't have a significant problem with these pads in wet muddy weather vs dry. A sintered pad offers more bit on the rotor, so that would be a better bet if you're concerned about performance.
Typically, riders and mechanics elect to use a solid rotor for very muddy rides vs the slotted rotors (stock) to diminish the possibility of contaminants reaching the pad surface and offer more surface area to dissipate the moisture.

A: If EBC and MotoSport say they fit you should be good to go. If you do not trust the site, you can ask Motosport customer service to verify part numbers for you.
I've used EBC pads on many bikes for many years without fitment problems. Also, your '01 CR125 shares very common calipers (Front & Rear) with many Honda mx models, so you shouldn't have an issue.

A: I would need to know the specific part number you received to tell you if they are correct for your bike or not. As long as you correctly selected your 1991 Kawasaki KX80 as the bike you were shopping for when you ordered the pads they should be correct for your bike. I would say the easiest way for you to tell would be to remove the pads that are on your bike now and compare the brake pad shape to make sure they are the same. Also, alot of EBC pads are coated with red on the backing plate of the pad, the image shown online is for reference only and is likely not displaying the exact brake pads for your bike. If you do need to exchange the pads you received please feel free to give us a call at 888-676-8853.
