Never paying for a filter again, can't beat that. Once I installed it I saw what all the hype was about. Don't need any harsh chemicals, just a cup of warm water mixed with a little dawn does the trick.
Paper filters are in the past now. Stainless reusable ones are the way to go in my opinion. I have had mine in my 250f for over a year now with no problems. Goes in just like a regular paper one, and its simple to clean.
I'm wondering if this fits a 2003 Yamaha YZ250F. Reason why I ask is because it doesent look the same as my old one. The piece of rubber on the top in the picture looks smaller around and thicker that my last.

i used to use them, it would be the first thing i bought every time. i just recently bought a 125 so i dont use these anymore but i swear buy them. you can pull them out and clean them in between motos.
I clean it using the solvent in my parts washer, and blowing it out with compressed air after cleaning. I've been using the same filter in my last 3 CRF450's, so 4 years and counting on the same filter.
