don't buy
" In the picture, the filter has a rubber grommet that the bolt goes thru to hold it on, but when i received my filter it didn't have this and the result was that it's not a very good fit. Maybe it was just for my bike(kx 250f), but i wouldn't buy another one. Moose makes a pre-oiled filter that is cheaper, has the grommet, and comes in a box instead of a plastic bag, which means the filter won't be deformed when you get it. "

Bad fit for me
" I bought this filter for a yz125 and it barely fit over the cage. I had to stretch the base of the filter out along the cage so much that I felt like I was going to rip the filter as I tightened it down. It still did the job but I'm not confident enough in the fit to run it more that just that one time. Perhaps the bad fit is unique to my bike model, I'm not sure, but I have also used the premium No-Toil filters multiple times andthey fit perfectly. No-Toil makes some good products and I will continue to use them, but this particular filter is one I'm not happy with at all. An attempt to save a few bucks really just resulted in wasting a few more. "

" Did some dyno test on my sons supermini with no improvement over twin air or OEM. So as much as I have to change his filter during a race week, these are the hot ticket for me. Being folded in a package they do not fit well around the air cage so you have to work it over. I liked using them, I would buy them buy the box. "

" I just tryed using these filters on my 09 yz 450 and I have to say they work quite impressively. I ride in ok, and tx in very dusty conditions, and the filters load up pretty quickly.The ease of cleaning them is also a snap, I especially like the fact that the no toil biodegradeable cleaner is environmentaly friendly. wouldnt buy another
" I bought the fast filter before a local race at southwick MA. due to the dusty conditions I wanted an extra filter on hand for a quick change. my first impression of the filter was that its not very high quality. it didnt fit very snuggly on my 08 KX450 plastic filter frame and upon feeling around the filter I found that it wasnt seating properly to the airbox. being at sandy southwick I decided not to take a chance with this thing and put it back in the bag for a less dusty situation. needless to say I WILL NOT be purchasing another one of these. my 4-stroke engine is too expensive to rebuild so why take a chance with a flimsy throw away filter? "

" If you have been using the traditional filter method of washing your filters in solvent and then oiling them you owe it to yourself to try the NoToil system. " I've used NoToil filters for many years and was anxious to try these out as they're about half the price. I got a half dozen or so and all but one fell apart the first time they were cleaned. NoToil replaced them immediately with the better filters - and I'll remain a loyal customer forever because of their customer service and other products. They told me that they'd discovered the flaw in the manufacturing process, but I'll stick with the better ones. This is a single layer foam filter vs. the dual layer of the more expensive filter. Designed to compete with the Ready Filter, which it beats hands down in my opinion. "
