D.I.D is the number one motorcycle chain in the world. D.I.D chains are used by factory races teams from all manufacturers in race series everywhere.

Pinning your mini out of every turn might tear apart the stock chain, but D.I.D and their 420NZ3 Gold chain will not let you, or your race for first, down.

  • For machines originally equipped with non-O-ring chains.
  • Solid rollers.
  • Shot-peened parts.
  • High cylindrical and roundness accuracy.
  • Exacting tolerances provide low friction.
  • DHA pin treatment - hard chromium-carbide layer formed on pin surface for exceptional strength and wear resistance.
  • Pre-stretched.
  • Special alloy steel with extended riveted bushing "anti-kink" design.
  • Highest quality non-O-ring chain in overall combined performance.
  • Up to 19% higher tensile strength; average tensile strength of 4,780 pounds.
  • Maximum displacement: 150cc.
  • Wear life index: 410.
  • Weight (per 100 links): 1.81 pounds.
  • Includes a clip-style master link.
  • Note: Non-sealed chains require more regular maintenance than sealed (O-ring, X-ring) versions and are mainly recommended for off-road use.

D.I.D's exclusive SDH (Super DH) pin treatment is the secret behind the superior performance of the NZ Series chains. This high-tech pin treatment forms an extremely hard chromium carbide layer on the pin's surface while maintaining a soft inner core. SDH treated pins have extreme impact strength while maintaining outstanding shock absorption. This treatment creates a chain with anti-oxidation properties and superior wear resistance against invasion of hard foreign materials.

Strong and good looking

This chain is easier to keep clean than I thought it would be. Looks sharp on my bike. DID is factory equipment many times, so you know it is a name and quality you can trust. have quite a few miles on it now and no issues. Make sure you have the correct tools for installing it, as there's no master link.

DID 420NZ3 GOLD CHAIN - 120 LINKS

Good chain - will withstand 30+ hrs of MX racing. DID chains are generaly a little more pricey but I have found you'll get a little more wear out of them & less streching. *KTM65 OEM chains are normaly complete junk -this is our drive train chain of choice as soon as it's pulled out of the crate - a DID goes on it day 1 before it's even kicked over.

I have a 2007 kx 85 with a 52 teeth rear sproket which size will fit?

Stock chain length is 120 links for your 07 KX85. I would suggest to get the 126 link and cut it to the correct size.

the 420x120 might not give you enough links for a big wheel. You will need to purchase the DID 420x126 to make sure that you have sufficient amount of links.

Stock length was 120 on the standard wheel and 126 on the big wheel. So depending on what your gearing is and what model you have you will need at least 120 links.
