A few cons

I have a 2013 ktm 250 sx and the bolts that came with the skid plate are to short. the bottom bolts just barley thread and the top mount bolts are not even close so have to get longer bolts at the hardware store to make it work. The only way that I can see it working with the bolts provided is to bend the mounting brackets considerably and I dont think thats a good thing. overall the plastic is pretty thick and it will look nice on the bike once im able to mount it.

Motor case coverage is good, plastic durable. Mounting brackets kind of cheesy, you still need to remove the plate when you change oil if you don't want it to fill up with dirty oil. I change the hex bolts to 8mm head so i can use t-wrench. Wish that cycra would do that with new kits.

What are the differences between this the full combat skid plate and the full coverage skid plate which is significantly cheaper? And also is this a direct bolt on to a 2015 KTM 300XC?

A: The Full Combat Skid plate is larger and offers more coverage. It wraps up around the bottom of the engine cases higher. The Full Armor still hase the two “wings” on each side for the water pump and ignition cover but doesn’t offer as much protection.
