Great pipes~!

Stuck these pipes on my VT1100 (Shadow Spirit) in only about 30 minutes. They come with the baffles pre-installed which actually are baffles vs. some of the other companies' poor excuse for baffles. Even with them in-place the sound is fairly loud but not obnoxious. They look good and sound good, but you can expect that from Cobra! **Make sure to order gaskets as they are NOT included!**

Absolutely the best!

Less than 20 minute install time and a perfect fit on my 16 year old son's 2013 650 Yamaha V Star Custom. Fantastic mid-range sound, loud enough to hear it coming and take notice but not loud enough to be annoying or get him in trouble. You don't have to be a mechanic to install these pipes, you can't go wrong.

Cobra drag pipes

I put the Cobra drag pipes on my 2013 vstar and they sound amazing.I removed the baffles and the bike is now the loudest in the neighborhood. If you want loud pipes these are for you!

Great sound!!!

Do you like the low rumble of big bikes? Look no further! These pipes are loud!!! But if you prefer moderate loudness, no problem. Leave the included removable baffles in. I use them this way . And didn't have to re-jet!!! . Easy to mount, to!! Just remember to buy a new rear gasket.

Do you need to have the carbs rejetied if you are putting on a complete new exhaust system?

Yes a jet kit is recommended when installing a complete system.

Technically the answer is yes. It is likely that this exhaust will lean out your mixture, even more so if you do not keep the baffles in-place. I'll skip the technical answer involving re-jetting the carbs to fix an exhaust problem... it gets somewhat complicated =)

Will these increase the HP on my Honda VT600 C Shadow?
I'm only 18 years old, and in Norway there is a rule that says if you are under 24 years, you can't have a motorcycle with more than 47 HP. My Honda has 39 HP at the moment. So my question is basically if it increases the HP on my bike, and if so, how much?

Nope. These are very mild tune engines, you won't see enough power increase from intake or exhaust changes to make a difference. It's simply a cosmetic and aural upgrade. Jetting it correctly, however, will release a few hidden ponies but not enough to put you over the mark.
