I was wondering if the red circle on this rotor is a magnet? I have a Honda XR650R with a TrailTech speedometer installed on the stock rotor now.?

No, you will need to use the magnetic rotor bolt provided by Trail Tech.

The red circle is simply the Braking logo, it doesn't have a function.

This rotor is designed to utilize the entire brake pad surface evenly and eliminates the need for lightening holes that weaken rotors. It is also designed to be able to with stand heating up without warping. This rotor should also maximize braking power. So yes, the rotor itself should be stronger than your stock rotor and you should also notice an improved stronger feel when braking with this rotor installed on your bike.
