Flywheel Puller

The puller had the correct threads for the flywheel but the center drive bolt was too large in diameter and I had to machine an insert in order for the tool to function properly. It worked fine once the piece was made but I am sure there are many people who do not have a lathe. I am still not sure I was sent the correct tool but it does function now. It is probably the last time I will ever need it anyway, so at this point it doesn't really matter.

Pulled
Correct part

I was sceptical of the bad reviews for the wrong parts being sent. I ordered it for my 03 yz250 and received the correct 27mm LH puller. Looks like they got their application database sorted out. Motosport; it would be helpful and reassuring if buyers can see exactly what puller is being selected for each make model.

I contacted Bikemaster directly on this and this is what they said: "At this time, we are not able to confirm the correct size flywheel puller for the 2013 and 2014 CRF450R's. We believe that it could be the same as the 09-12 but have nothing concrete to support that." - Daniel W., BikeMaster Products

If you profile your bike correctly you should receive the one specific for your model. If you do not specify the model properly, you will not receive the correct puller.
