95 kx250/ my transmission loves it

I Bought a 95 kx250. When I test drove it I said "wow this clutch is destroyed" checked the gear oil nothing :( I drained the last dribble replaced it with belt ray gear saver and now it shifts like I bought off the floor in 95. Great product perfect for old beat up bikes perfect for racing

Good Oil for your transmission and clutch

I've never had an issue with this oil. Switched a few years ago when my KX125 clutch was sticking. Never had an issue since.

Bel-ray Gear Saver Transmission Oil

I've used Bel-ray products for thirty years and have always been satisfied with their performance. The gear oil has never failed to provide excellent transmission lubrication while allowing it to function properly - no missed shifts due to clutch drag, no extraordinary wear of transmission parts.

All that I use

I used to use Honda, and that is what my brother uses in his 2013 KX450, but this year I use this product. It simply is easy to find in the store because it stands out. I don't know about you but I hate staring at the shelf to figure out if I am getting pre-mix, transmission fluid, or fork oil.

Best Product

I've been using this since the late 80s. I've tried all different types of oil both synthetic and non synthetic. However nothing comes close to the reliability that Bel-Ray offers. My clutches last longer and have a better feel.

Transmission oil?
I am new to 2 stroke engines, and i just rebuilt a 2003 RM60 that i recently bought for my son (new wiseco crank, piston, bearings/seals). I used suzuki 4 stroke 20w 50 oil. Will bel-ray transmission oil be a better oil to use? The clutch, kickstart, water pump are on the same side of the case as the oil fill / sight glass. Does this same oil fill the other side of the case that has the transmission gears?

Transmission oil is not rated like a motor oil. I would suggest an 80w85 for your transmission.

The transmission oil is not separate from the engine oil on your 2001 Yamaha Raptor 660. Bel-ray recommends a 10W-30 or 10W-40. I would recommend referring to your OEM service manual for oil change instructions. You can find the Bel-ray ATV engine oil here: http://www.motosport.com/atv/BelRay-ATV-Trail-4Stroke-Engine-Oil
