i have small hands, and with this on my quad i only had the 1st knuckle and the tip of my thumb on the right controls sucked for woods racing! ha ha so if the measurement from your wrist to the tip of your middle finger is 7" i would not recommend, but if you got bigger hands, go for it because it is excellent quality, just locktite the nut on the inside for lever.

Bought this for a YFZ450 and broke in 4 rides
Ya thats right. Looks Cool. Feels Good. When it worked it felt real nice and responsive. Then the little spring inside that moves the throttle back to off. You know when your thumb isn't on the throttle broke on me. :( Now i have to use the back end of my thumb to move the throttle back to start. It's almost like having cruise-control. I can let go of the bike and still do 40mph. LOL Wish the inside was as good as the outside. Needs a heavy duty spring inside the casing.

Great upgrade!
This is one of the better mods i've made to my controls. This thumb throttle is easily adjustable and is very smooth. Definitely worth buying.

04 Yamaha raptor 660r terry cable thumb throttle?
Hello will this throttle fit fine on my four wheeler? I also have 1 1/8s fat bars... Will I need to remove or modify anything on my wheeler or will this just clamp right on and I'm good to go?

This will replace your stock throttle assembly just fine for the Raptor 660. 1-1/8th bars still are 7/8ths at the ends where your controls and grips are, so that will not have any effect.

Will it fit a dirt bike?
I have a 05 KX250, and as odd as it might sound I have thought about switching from a twist grip to a thumb throttle. I grew up on thumb throttles, and I feel I have more control with them. Call me crazy... Has anyone ever done this? Are there any reasons I don't know of to not do it? Will it fit a 05 KX250?

These are designed to fit ATV. Adapting this to a twist throttle is something I've never heard of, nor can I give any advice on doing so.
