Great purchase

I bought these in February installed them hard to get on rim stiff. But worth it. I have about 5 rides on these tires sx1 in mud, rocks, pavement, preformed great. This is and will be my go to tire. Love these will buy another set when needed.

Good product W/one flaw.

I bought the SX1 Combo. The rear tire lasted longer than the front. The front tire developed a tear in tire on the inside, which ended up having a flat during a race. I have since bought more expensive tires. I have never seen a front tire do this. I was planning to run this front tire for a least half a season. Rear tire is heavily chuncked now after 10 races.

Artrax SX1 Front Tire

I have tried many of the top brands and found that the Artrax SX1 Rear Tire perform admirably. For the price and durability you simply can not beat these tires. Winter riding: mostly wet roots, tight single track and mud. Summer riding: Rock, shale, sand, forest land single track.

Great Tire For A Great Price

I bought this tire as part of a combo. I am amazed as to the quality of this tire. I have never had any issues mounting Artrax tires. They wear exceptionally well. The SX1 and the SE3 tires have great traction for me. I am a 40+ Novice rider, track and desert. When I can buy a combo for the same price or less than a big brand rear tire, and have the same if not better wear... I will continue to use Artrax tires on both of my YZ250s ('88 and '04)

Very Good for the Price

The SX1 is a very reasonably priced tire with great tread life. It hooks up well and is very suitable for multiple terrain. Sure, I won't argue that a Michelin Starcross, or Maxxis IT may be a better tire, but if you are on a tight budget like me then the SX1 will do you just fine.

Good cheap tire

This tire was no more or less difficult to mount than any other "name brand" tire I have mounted over the years. I did use about 50psi to seat the bead correctly. I took my crf450 out to one of the gnarly and rockiest places I ride, the tire hooked up really well, especially while climbing the big hills and up hill switch backs. I could see wear on the tire after one days worth of nasty trails, so I did rate the tire a little lower on the durability but the tire was only 38 dollars. less than half of a "big name" tire.

Great Tire

Don't be fooled by this less expensive tire.
I only have a couple of rides on it but it is holding up really well. Great traction in Soft, hard pack and rocks. All my riding is in the desert, never on a track

Good tire!

Tire doesn't seem as round as other 19" tires and took a few laps to get used to but overall good tire and easy to install!

All around great traction

Like title says...all around great traction and durability is out of this world. I'm really surprised not to see this name mainstream by now. Tire is everything said it to be and some.

Great tire

This tire can't be beat for the price. I'm using it on loose dirt and some rocky trails., sandy arroyos and hard pack. Very happy so far..

Great Tire For The Price

I've ran this tire on tracks and off-road now and did not have a problem at all with the front end pushing. Even the back tire after an 1.5 hour GP is in great shape and hooked up great on everything from hardpack, grass to dusty track.

I would recommend the SX1's as a combo, especially for the price you cannot go wrong.

Folks saying it's out of round maybe didn't set the bead properly. I did have to put a decent amount of air in to set the bead, other than that no problems installing.

Wow

I read bad reviews about this tire but I finally got it out on the track and wow. This tire is amazing and I had zero problems holding bead or installing the tire. Great tire for the price.

Don't buy this tire if you see much sand!

I revived a 2003 XR250R that had been sitting for 2 years or so, needless to say the tires were rotted. I was looking for something inexpensive (this is a trail bike, not a motocrosser!) so I found this tire and figured I'd give it a go. Mounting was no harder or easier than any other 21" dirt bike tire. The tire looks a little odd, though, the voids between the center knobs are pretty huge. This tire does well on hard pack (haven't tried mud yet), but it is HORRIBLE in sand. Where I ride in NW New Mexico just south of the Colorado state line we have a combination of hard packed sand and clay, sandstone, and sand. In sand, due to the large voids, you have to be very careful, it wants to wash out no matter how you distribute your weight. Bottom line, if you ride in an area that has much loose sand, avoid this tire, you'll land on your head if you don't!

Not a good tire

I'm not sure this tire is even round.
It would not stay on the bead.
