I have always (22 years riding MX) worn Alpinestars boots & I've always bought the top of the line boots. In my mid 40s now I don't think I need the top of the line, so I got these and they are by far the best boot I have ever bought. Unbelievably comfortable. I swear they're making me faster too....

I have put in some time in my Tech 5's. Right at 35 hours in them now, the middle of the sole is just starting to get a hole in the center. Overall this boot has been great, and it's been 9 months of constant use. Glad I bought them, now I will be trying the Tech 7's for the first time. Great company with great product.
This a great boot for the price. Still getting them broke in but they are night and day difference over cheaper priced boots. I wouldn't get any boot cheaper than this, they all suck. It's worth it to spend more money on boots. I wear a size 8 1/2 so I ordered an 8 and it fit perfect especially after the boot started to get broke in.
I am pumped again for another amazing boot from Alpinestar. The quality of this boots flies way high above the competition. What else can you say they are Italian!!! I didn't mark anything in the durability catagory as I have only ridden in them once , but from what I can tell they are going to bring years of enjoyment and hours of protection. Great buy for the money!!!
ive only had them out for one ride so far, but here is my first impression.
boots fit well (i got the same size i wear in my work boots) and are very comfortable. I had a hard time shifting with them but i think they just need to be broke in as they are still very stiff. the only real downside i had was that it was wet out and the boots seemed to slip off when down shifting. i was riding my rode bike that has a rubber grip on the gear selector, im hoping this wont be the case once i start using them on the YZ with a metal gear changer. all in all comfortable boot that i am happy with.
Excellent affordable boot. Size 12 is true to fit. Very comfortable, short break in period.
If you are a half size like myself, I would say get the size smaller. Ex. shoe size 10.5, get the 10's. I have 3 rides on them so far, not quite broken in but have held up great, look good, and are very comfortable. They are no tech 10's but I would say best bang for your buck. Overall happy with the purchase and would recommend them to a friend.
These boots are great especially for the price. Work very well. Shifting and braking are no problem. Look great as sell
Stylish, comfortable, and received promptly from Motosports!
These boots are wonderful! The sizing is very true, they're extremely comfortable, and they look great! I have a pair of tech 7's as well and I really don't see anything to drastic between the two boots. I truly think this is the best bang for your buck. No need to spend crazy money buy these and I'm sure you won't be disappointed.
These boots are excellent and worth every penny! I wear a size 6.5 shoe and ordered a half size smaller and they fit perfect! They were very comfortable right out of the box. Wore them for the first ride and could not be happier with comfort and feel. Very easy to move around in and shift. Best pair of boots I have ever owned! Would highly recommend these!
These boots are amazing. They are very comfortable, light weight, and stylish. Ive only put about 4 rides on them, so cant comment on durability. But have held up so far. Great boots for the price.
I've got about 20 hours in these boots. Just like any other boot, I had to break them in, but after that they've been great. The boots are rigid, but not so much that it restricts movement. I mostly trail ride, so these have had their share of being hit on rocks, etc., and they're holding up well. I didn't want to spend $500 on a pair of boots, but I also didn't want to get a cheap pair with poor protection. I think these boots are a good happy medium between cost and protection/functionality. I see no reason to switch to another boot, and I will probably stick with Alpinestars in the future.
I wear a size 12 Nike freerun, and these boots fit me well in size 12.
I finally got to wear these for the first time when I raced in a Hare Scramble yesterday, I was worried that they would be uncomfortable since I never got a chance to break them in before the race. I can honestly say I never thought about them once during or after the race, really impressed with how comfortable they are right off the bat. The single hinge seems to offer pretty good ankle flexibility while maintaining stability. The fit seems true to size, they offer decent protection, time will tell how well they hold up.
I have about 5 rides on them and I can't complain. Really good fit and really nice soles, feels good on the bike
Very good boots for the money. If youve previously had a cheaper pair of boots youll notice the higher quality once you wear these. Previous pair was only $100 as soon as i put these on i could tell the difference. Much more comfortable. Did have a short break in to make them more comfortable on a bike. very nice boots and very good looking boots
This is my first dirt bike boot. After a few hours of using them, they broke right in and were very comfortable. They offer a lot of protection as well. I am size 10 and it was true to its size. Went from using work boots to these and in a ride or two, felt very comfortable with them. Was camping after riding with them and forgot I had them on for a few hours, if that says anything about the comfort.
Great all around definitely recommend over any other brand
Very comfortable out of the box, easy on and off
Boots are a great price. Fit perfect. They look pretty good. Provides less protection then my old tech 8's. Plastic seems way softer. Otherwise decent boot for the price.
I hope this answers your question.
