Woodcraft Clip-Ons

Product Description

Woodcraft 2-piece split clip ons are specially designed to make installation and removal a snap. The 2-piece design is race proven and makes it easy to service your clip-ons below the triple clamp without having to disassemble the entire front end. Special attention has also been taken to save weight wherever possible. The bars are 12" long and are easily adjusted to whatever custom width you desire.

The forks on these bikes taper just below the triple clamp to a smaller diameter, leaving traditional 50 mm clip ons with a clamping area that is not wide enough to grab the entire clip-on. Unlike standard 50 mm clip ons, Woodcraft's stepped GSX-R clip-ons allow you keep stock ride height or to lower your front end and still be able to properly clamp the fork.

Note: 2003-2004 models do not allow full lock steering to the right with stock steering stops due to the throttle cables contacting the ram air tube. Racers need to either 1) build up the steering stops, 2) rotate your throttle tube couterclockwise or 3) adapt the top exit throttle housing.

OEM Clip-On Replacement

Installation was easy and without any problems. One drill hole on each to facilitate the power button (R clip-on) and the blinker button (L clip-on). Recommend keeping everything lose until you find the sweet spot by fully sweeping the handlebars and checking for impacts. Brake resevoir even went on without a hitch using the OEM bracket (bend it a little- its aluminium).

Woodcraft is only offering their clip-ons in one style for the CBR250R. They come with a built in 1" rise.

46mm will be diameter of the clamp. These would be designed to clamp to forks that have a 46mm tube diameter.
