Installation was trivial, the wires were plenty long. More than enough warmth. Selection of heat setting is easy to do on-the-fly. It's very thin, lightweight, and un-bulky so it doesn't give you the puffed up feeling some liners do.

My son loves his linner. He took a ride last night it was 39'. now he is going to get the gloves.thanks
Love riding in winter months and wanted to try out an electric jacket. I have been using this on my stock xr650 L electrical system. Works great and has adjustable heat levels as well as a quick disconect from the bike to jacket. Incase you decide to make an unscheduled depature with the bike. I have found wearing a windbreaker over this enhances the warming effect and have ridden in 20 degrees without a problem.
I choose this unit because everything was included. No other accessories /controller/wire to buy. To my surprise is how well that it perform. It warms up my sleeves, collars, both chest and back. It fits nicely under my Alpinestar. Love it.
I would recommend looking at the VentureHeat 690M Soft Shell Battery Heated Jacket as it is an actual jacket and is waterproof as well.
