Good silencer!

I have a pro circuit works pipe on my '04 RM250 which i bought secondhand. The bike came with a Pro Circuit spark arrester silencer which i rode with for a few months. I decided to finally get a motocross silencer and man! Not only is this Shorty about 2 lbs lighter than the spark arrester, it took the tame power band of the RM250 and gave it some hit! A little more on the bottom, but mostly noticed that the powerband actually "hits" now in the mid range. Noticed no difference on the top end but i barely get out of third gear on the local tracks anyway!

Pro Circuit Shorty Silencer

I bought this for my son's cr250 hoping that it would give a little more power at his hill climb competition, but didn't notice much difference at all from the forest approved spark arrester silencer.

Great pipe

this pipe is great, if you only or still have stock exhaust on your bike, if you buy this pipe you will notice a big difference in power. it has a nice sound to it, looks great on the bike and it was easy to install , i have this paired up with the pro circuit platinum pipe on my yz 85 ,,huge power gains. this just makes the bike rip even harder. great pipe, and in my opinion its better than fmf

The Pro Circuit R 304 Shorty Silencer would work great on your 2016 Husqvarna TC250. Just be sure to correctly select the Year/Make/Model of your bike before ordering so we can be sure to send you the correct silencer for your bike. Also, feel free to give us a call at 888-676-8853 and we would be happy to help you out with your order.

Shorty or regular?
I ride a 2014 KTM 250 XC-W (E-start) I mainly ride tight wooded trails and cross country enduro. I love the bottom end on the bike (stock exhaust at the moment) should I get the regular sized R304 or the shorty? Also was wondering if the silencer will fit on the stock expansion chamber? will most likely upgrade to the Platinum 2 pipe in time, or should I just buy the full system all at once to avoid more rejetting?

The Shorty will give you more throttle response and low end power. Because it's smaller you'll see even more weight savings and a louder sound level. The Pro Circuit Factory 304 Silencer Improves top-end power. If you are riding in areas that require a U.S. Forest Service approved spark arrestor you would want to go with the Pro Circuit Type 296 Spark Arrestor.
Fitment with the stock pipe can not be guaranteed, but you shouldn't have a problem. And as far as jetting It would really depend on your location (altitude/temperature) and how your bike is running with the current jetting.
Feel free to give us a call at 888-676-8853 and we would be happy to help you out with your order.

If I bore out my cr85 with pro circuit r-304 pipe and silencer will it need re jeted?

Most likely you will need to re-jet. There is not a specific setting I could give you for jetting your bike. It would really depend on your location (altitude/temperature) and how your bike is running with the current jetting. Jetting can be very tricky, there isn't one setting that will work everywhere with every bike. I would recommend taking your bike to a local motorcycle dealership’s service department to have your bike properly jetted.

Pro circut r304?
A stock 125 has 2 mounts for the silencer to fit on, this shorty has only 1 mount.? It says it fits my 01 yz 125 but I'm just confused.

For your 2005 Kawasaki KX85 the Pro Circuit R 304 Shorty Silencer should bolt to the FMF fatty no problem.

If your bike is currently jetted properly you will likely not have to make any changes after installing this slip-on. I would recommend installing the exhaust and riding the bike to see how it is running then tuning your carburetor from there if necessary.

Switching over to a Pro Circuit Shorty Muffler should give you a noticeable increase in power right off the bottom end as well as giving you a bit broader power delivery throughout the powerband.
