It looks sweet, but the price is a little steep.

A checkered flag. A scenic panorama unfolding around the bend. A trophy catch. A pulse-quickening stretch of road or trail. Heads turning as you pass by. Even coming home at the end of a hard day's work. Whatever your pursuit, Yamaha is there, too, pursuing their goals. They want to satisfy their customers and exceed their expectations with products and services of superior quality, unmatched performance, and extraordinary value.
- This pinch replaces the stock steel pinch with a blue anodized billet aluminum piece.
Fit perfectly on 09 yz450
I'm not sure why the previous reviewer had issues, it possibly could have been because he didn't remove the metal spacers out of the fork guard. This piece has the spacers built in, so they aren't separate.
Installation was a breeze on my 2016 YZ 450f. Simply unbolt the factory one, remove the spacers in the fork guard, slide the new piece into the fork guard, put the other side on, and tighten the bolts up. Make sure to tighten them evenly so it clamps together evenly the first time. The next time you have to take it apart, a piece will stay in your fork guard.
The fitment was right on the money, even on my Cycra fork guards.
My YZ250 has an aluminum pinch clamp stock. Its light, and well machined. I picked this GYTR pinch clamp up as a little bling without breaking the bank. I was really diappointed in the quality of it. I had to use the OEM screws because the ones supplied were too short. It is just not well made and is below the OEM in quality. If I could, I'd just take the OEM and annodize it blue and toss the GYTR clamp in the tool box. For the money, it is NOT worth it. Get another aluminum OEM clamp. If this is indicative of GYTR product quality, I'm all done with GYTR.
This is a great replacement if you destroy your stock line clamp. It allows a smoother bend to the caliper.
