Haven't wrecked with it yet but feel confident that it would do it's job. It's comfortable and light and looks good. Seems good quality and very durable and a good price compared to other neck support products.

Just got in a accident on the dunes at silver Lake Michigan. Ended up breaking my collarbone but all of the first responders said this thing saved my life. Really after about 10 minutes of riding with it on you don't even feel it. And USE the straps! I know they look dumb but trust me they are there for a reason! I may have a broken collar bone right now but atleast I'm alive. I will never ride without my neck brace ever again!
Fits great. Don't even know I'm wearing it. Hope I never have to use it, but I know it's there.
It's a little thick. I don't have a short neck. Feels more like a neck brace instead of protection. A 1/4" thinner would be much more comfortable and usable.
I switched to this from the EVS Rc evolution neck brace and it is a huge difference. The R4 is much more comfortable, lightweight, and durable. the only thing i will say is in fitting with my thor sentinel chest protector it was a little different. With the old one i would put on the RC Evolution and then put the chest protector on top to hold it into place. This one is slightly more difficult at first. what you have to do is put on the chest protector first (without connecting straps) and then run the straps of the neck brace through the neck opening on the chest protector and then put your head through the neck brace and then arms through the straps and connect the chest protector and neck brace straps. All together though the brace is worth it and is not overly restrictive, it also stays in place very well.
You will not find a better neckbrace for $110.00. Plain and simple. If your a penny pincher this is for you. Does what it needs to do when it needs to do it. Looks good and is pretty comfortable.
I bought this recently for my son because he already uses and likes the EVS roost/chest protector. He rode with it for the 1st time a couple weeks ago and when I asked him if it bothered him he stated he forgot he had it on. It looks pretty cool as well. Thinking of getting one for myself. It is kinda plain so I bought it with the decal kit which I believe is about $15.
This product is much less expensive than the competition. Did have issues with fit when wearing body armor.
I bought 2 of these on a deal of the day e-mail for $69.00 each. Regular price was around $120.00. With 2 riders in the family we can't afford $200.00 or more for a neck brace. We mostly ride trails and see no need for a high dollar brace. Does what it's supposed to and you can hardly tell it's on. Size fitment was right on. The adult size fits both me and my 15 year old son. The only issue I have with it so far is that it only comes with one allen wrench to adjust the rear strut and it takes 2 wrenches to remove the bolt. Not really a big deal though because if you ride you should have plenty of allen wrenches. Overall great product.
This neck brace gives you good protection for your neck. At an amazing price. Not as good as a top brand but you can buy 4 of these for the price of one of those. I recommend this to anyone who does not want to spend over 300 dollars.
The neck support fits well and is easy to adjust. Aesthetically, it looks good. It is easy to get on and off. I haven't had it out riding yet since the weather is bitter cold right now but I have tried it on and adjusted it.
Seems to be a good brace for the price. I've had it now for 6 m. Has held up good but the decals came off. Fits well and hardly knows its there. As far as performance goes I have no idean nor do I want to find out. Io
The brace itself is designed well enough for beginners or a trail rider but not a serious MX rider. It's durable and provides okay protection but the strapping systems is poor for jumps. You can't tighten the straps well enough to keep the brace from flopping up on a jump. Plus it's a pain to open, especially for kids. You get what you pay for at least.
Simple neck support..simple is good !!! Easy to put on and take off. Easy to clean. After about 10 minutes of ripping, don't even know it's on... And it didn't cost $400.00 bucks.... Make sure it's compatible with the chest protecter you use....
I'm trying to sell mine because it doesn't fit with any chest or roost protectors. I can only where it by it self.
i had bought this neck brace quite some time ago after i started to get faster and hit bigger jumps. i wear it everytime i go out on my bike. just yesterday i took a pretty nasty fall right on my head when i undershot the landing and went flying off the bike. i believe that if i was not wearing this brace, i would probably be in the hospital right now with more than just my concussion and fractured thumb. the neck brace offers great protection. it might not be as comfortable as the more expensive ones, and maybe can feel alittle bulky at times, but for the price it cant be beat. if you dont feel like spending 250+ for a neck brace, do everyone a favor and at least get this brace.
I have worn the evs r4 for about ten hours of trail riding. I have an evs roost protector and they fit well together. Once it is on, I forget that I am wearing it. I have yet to "test" it, but I figure the r4 is better than wearing no brace at all.
This is a n awesome neck brace. Very comfortable. Saved me in a crash. Would highly recommend this brace to others.
Great neck brace for the money
I loved my Evs neckbrace ive used it for the whole 2012 season and it held up great i wore it alot and it is very light so that was a big plus. when im riding i can barely tell its on. great product everyone should buy this from motosport.com
