Very bad

I don't care if you own Bel-ray...this oil is so expensive the owner couldn't afford it if she/he was riding every weekend. Buy GN4. It didn't last extra long before it turned dark. I don't know how to tell besides that whether an oil is good or not. Unless you want to put a Bel-Ray sticker on your bike.

I would recommend going with an 80w or 85w Transmission oil for your KX250 over a regular 10W40 oil.

I forgot that this is what I used at the last oil change and added some 20-50 Castrol GTX when starting out this spring. Will this hurt my engine?

It shouldn't hurt you engine as long as u completely flush all of the old oil out and change your oil filter and fill up with this oil.

I wouldn't recommend mixing oils and running them. It probably wont hurt anything but i would drain the oil and replace the oil and filter with the correct oil. Either oil can be used, just not a good idea to mix different varieties.

If you want to be specific, I would look for transmission oil around 80/85 weight. http://www.motosport.com/dirtbike/search/index.php?words=transmission%20oil

Yes this is the oil that you put in the transmission side of the engine. This is not oil to mix with the fuel.

this is 10w40, but should be fine. This isn't the same as injector oil just so you know.

For the transmission side yes, but this is not a two stroke oil to mix with oil.
