First buy

I ordered the D.I.D chain in a sprocket kit and found it didn't come with the master link. All it took was a call to Motosport and the problem was fixed. It matched perfect with the chain and install was easy. Came with the full link and master clip. Motosport has done it right once again.

Every trail bag needs at least one!

Strong and durable, these links will make sure you keep the party rolling. Whether you need the whole link, just the retaining clip, or helping a stranded rider, making sure you or your friends get back to the truck without any pushing, is paramount. I buy these and keep a spare in the tool box, trail bag, and even one in the truck. Cheap insurance!

I have a DID 520 V8 chain on my 03 Honda XR400R. I want to buy two master links and a 6" section of chain. Which one of your products do I buy? Gary?

The correct master link for this chain is Honda OEM part # 40531-MN1-672 and can be found in the OEM Honda part fiche here : http://www.motosport.com/dirtbike/oem-parts/HONDA/2003/XR400R/SWINGARM . Unfortunately sections of chain cannot be purchased. If you need a longer chain or have a damaged portion of chain, you will need to purchase a new chain and cut it to correct length.

It will work, but we do offer the R1 masterlink as well. Use the search engine and search for: "R1 Masterlink" and it will pull it right up.

I ordered a D.I.D chain and it didn't come with a masterlink. I tried using my old one from an r1 chain it just didn't fit right. So just on that prob not. Be safe and just get the correct masterlink for the right chain.
