Foam blows out of vent every time, even right after start up and the quad is idling. should have planned on no lid and outwears. do not waste money or time.

Great product!
Don't waste your money on a k and n powerlid these vent are great you can remove the foam filter in the vent and clean them when needed And they provide more air versus the stock lid. But that is a no brainer. I defintely recommend this product!

BOX VENTS
I was a little hesitant to start drilling holes in my air box to get more out of my DRZ-400s, but with these It felt safer. They aren't to fancy but look as if they will get the job done. Plus i just put on a power bomb header, power core 4, and re-jetted, boy does she fly!

Cheap power
I put these vents on my 2006 RMZ250 and the bottom was where i could tell the most difference and it also helped whith the booging issue to

Would these be okay for dusty conditions?
Expert MotoSport Staff
Over 3 years ago Location: USA
These allows more air to pass into the airbox. Keep in mind these are little vents with pieces of foam to help keep some dust and dirt out. if you're riding in extremely dusty conditions, your filter will become dirty quicker.

yes, you can put oil fliter in the foam too.

About how many of these will u use on your bike?
MotoSport Staff Expert
Over 3 years ago Location: Portland, OR
The package contains 6 vents. I've seen people use three on each side of the airbox. The amount of vents you would like is entirely up to you.

as many as you want, the more, the better.

Will water or dirt get into the box?
MotoSport Staff
Over 4 years ago Location: P+RTLAND
Yes, putting holes in your airbox does increase the risk of sucking something through, but these do have screens to filter out the larger stuff that's sucked through, so you shouldn't really have anything to worry about.

water will get in the box the same way if you didnt have these installed, but you can oil the foam to stop dirt getting in.

Do you need to rejet for this?

Most likely not but it depends on the other mods you got. It wouldn't hurt to double check it though.
