Great hand guards

These hand guards are some of the best I've ever had. They are big enough to cover your entire hand without being obnoxious. If you want more protection they come with attachable pieces that make them taller and cover the vents. The mounts are shaped so you won't have to move any of your controls.

Choice of the pros

Great hand guard overall, very versatile. Would like to see the option to tilt the actual plastic guard in relation to the mounts, doesn't work with these. You can choose between two different mounting heights though!

X-Force

For the price, these handguards are amazing. They look very good on the bike, but also function really well. The mounts have tons of flex in them which in my opinion is a good thing. It prevents the mounts from bending or breaking easily. Also since they have optional spoilers you can mix and match the colors on them.

Great fit and finish

The stock hand guards on my 2014 KTM 500exc (that were newly desighned for 2014) broke off the first time I fell on the bike. I am happy to report that the Acerbis X-force Handguards can take a beating. I had 5 hard falls on my last 90 mile ride and the hand guards are still on the bike. The way they mount to the handle bar allow the guards to flex on impact and not break. Also, the material they build the mounts out of is not brittle like the stock hand guards. Great product for the price!

Great product

I wanted some good quality hand guard but I hate the look And function of most other setups but these work great and are easy to set up and adjust.

Great on my 07' KtTM

I got these right before the season started. I installed them s soon as i got to the desert. took less than 5 minutes. I mounted the bracket under my controls instead of over. Its a tight fight with my controls but with a lil tweaking of everything, it fits great. Pinning it around bushes and following the roost of anything with no worries. Got quite a few scratches on them that weekend ;)

X force handguard

These work well deflecting garden variety roost and small branches on trail. However, a large branch broke the mount on my left guard. It did save the clutch lever and I could still ride, so giving it's life, it did it's job. Acceptable in Idaho.

X-Force handguards for woods riding

i love these hand guards, i race harescrambles and track i run these on all the bikes ive had, i cant stand the guards that wrap around to your bar ends so i thought i would try these. they stop the rocks and dirt from hitting your hands and trees branches from grabbing your levers which was all i was looking for.

Good looking guards...

I like these handguards...I would consider them "light weight" in terms of protection, but they are flexible enought to take a hit and bounce right back. I previously had EE moto guards which seemed to be sturdier, but time will tell how they hold up. They look great on the bike, though!

Great product

These were super simple to install and they come with easy to install/ remove inserts to block/allow air to pass through. I have not used them yet but they should do the trick protecting from roost, sticks or maybe save a lever when I wipe-out " cause we all know that never happens"

Great for the money

These hand guards work perfectly, they were easy and quick to install and look great. Only problem i had was that the hardware supplied will come lose with any hard riding or heavy vibration, simple solution is to use a different nut with thread locker and they won't rattle loose at all.

Gets The Job Done

I recently changed handlebars and found the old hand guards I had didn't fit the new bars. I wanted guards that didn't have a lot of heavy hardware so I decided to try these Acerbis X-Force Hand Guards.
The first ride I went on was up in the Piutes and I was glad I had them. The trail was awesome, technical and brushy. The guards did a great job of protecting my hands and levers as well as the throttle and front brake reservoir from branches and brush. I didn't get a chance to see how they would hold up on impact because it was one of those rare days when I didn't take a dirt nap.
I think they will do their job when called upon but I doubt about their survival odds. The guards might make it but the mounts might not. Any ways they do keep the brush off your hands and with the inserts they help keep your hands warmer. Price is right. WS

A: The Acerbis X-Force Handguards are made of durable nylon and polypropylene. They hold up pretty well but it is possible in a crash for them to break away from the mount. They would not offer much if any protection to our levers if you drop your bike..

A: The holes are actually for using a zip-tie to connect the hand guard to the brake master cylinder / clutch perch area for extra stability.
