Uni POF filter bypasses the airbox?
Just so I understand clearly, this filter type bypasses the stock airbox on a 2006 CRF80F, and there's no structural interference? If so is it necessary to remove stock airbox?

Yes, this filter will bypass the air box entirely, it is designed to clamp directly to the carburetor. You would have to remove the at least the airboot for this to fit. One drawback to running this type of filter is they are much more exposed. Any wet conditions will get the filter wet much quicker than if you use a concealed filter in the air box. Same will go with dusty conditions, with it being so exposed, in dusty conditions the filter will become contaminated much more quickly. To obtain the correct filter you will need to measure the outer diameter of the carburetor where the airboot would slide on, and order the corresponding filter for that size.
